I can understand the point that the sport just isn't realistic. You probably have to change a bunch so that you either end up with womens mud wrestling or people wearing protective gear like they do for american football. The former already exists, the latter is pointless. But in a magical world in which Keijo as a sport suddenly makes sense and you could, for the most part, implement it without the need to change it too much (at least visually speaking) I don't see it not being popular. | ||

Your first point misses my point as well. Dragonball is a different story. Of course there are times were superpowers make a difference. I would also say that the superpowers in Keijo definitely helped the show. They weren't the main attraction though and I repeat it again: If you keep all the super powers and throw out all the fanservice then you end up with nobody watching the show. | ||
