What a fucking amazing show. There are just so many good things that can be said about this one, that I can't even. Also, the use of music in it is probably the best I've ever seen anywhere. Every single episode has a moment where something emotional happens, and the music starts playing in the background. Every single time, the song choice is absolutely perfect, and every single time the scene is beautiful. Stuff like this is why I love anime. I can't wait until the last episode, even though I have no idea what could possibly happen in it. As far as I'm concerned it could end right now and I'd be satisfied. + Show Spoiler [episode 12] + The previously mentioned laptop scene, is one of the best things I've ever seen in anime as a whole. Fuck. | ||

The manga is still going and it is well past the silver soul arc. So who knows what Gorilla is doing. But it's getting good right now and I am very, VERY curious as to if they will animate this part of the manga, or leave it. Maybe they can make a movie for it. | ||

Fuck. I thought it was going to be one of those mediocre niche sols like Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san or something, but it actually has some decent effort put into it. In the weeb discord nobody ever talks about it. Sorayori and Yuru camp on the other half, are very popular. Violet evergarden doesn't seem like very active these days either, at least in the circles I frequent in, the fuss died down completely after the first few eps. | ||

I'm not going to argue if MAL is worth taking into account or not. Let's just say neither my MAL or many people's MAL's represent what they have watched or are watching. My point is that nobody really talks about franxx. People talk about yuru camp and Sorayori though. Quite a lot. At places I frequent, anyway. EDIT: also, wtf, 3 replies in 5 minutes. | ||
