Honestly, the story was generic as fuck but in contrast to, say, Garden of Words there was put so much emphasis on direct story-telling instead of just mood/atmosphere to tell the story. It's still one of those movies that I'd recommend to friends (and have done so) who like some anime but aren't really into it enough to watch seasonal stuff. Seems like a good gateway movie to me. Especially if it's not just guys but a girl or guy+girl watching it together. | ||
