That said, I do think their characterization has been better than Strike Witches (low bar there). The fights have been total trash though, which is honestly kinda surprising, because it's half the draw of the series. | ||

Brave Witches is just so ridiculous with all it's pantyshots for me. I really didn't care about them early on but if you get them NONSTOP it kind of drags on you. Let's take this for an example from todays episode: + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/9JdZr6s.jpg) The shot itself makes sense, it's an important, emotional scene for her and us seeing how she's looking downwards is the obvious thing to do to get that feeling across... but due to the fact that pants are being outlawed in this world we thus get to see her underwear as well and it just ends up being silly more than anything else. That's really my biggest gripe with this thing. I don't enjoy the fights because for the most part I just can't stand all that CG and any attempt to get something serious in there is ruined by someone flashing her underwear while it happens. The MC is just plain obnoxious + Show Spoiler + , best girl is dead ffs and the (good) ridiculousness of it only carried for about 3 episodes or so for me. Girlish Number, got the transition from ridiculous due to "LOL-MC, LOL FACES" to Kazuha/Momoka based stuff much better imo | ||
