Also, Kiss Him, Not Me first episode was hilarious. Then again, I've read the Manga on CR, so I knew exactly what I was getting into when I watched it. Still, very funny, although I'm not sold on the voice changes for Serinuma through the episode.

I can also see Souma ranting about main girl like he ranted about Kirino from OreImo if he were to check it out ![]()

Watched Izetta too. was pretty decent but I'll probably wait til' it finishes airing to splurge. Same with Gays on Ice and Flip Flappers.

The art was weirding me out a little, or so I thought from just looking at it but it just works in motion, for the most part. What kind of sci-fi is Flip Flappers? More comedy moe show or is there also some decent sci-fi stuff going on? On October 09 2016 03:16 Kaal wrote: God damn, the adaptation for 3gatsu is on point. I had so many misgivings about Shaft adapting it and if the manga would even transition well to the screen but I'm blown away. First episode was perfect, Shaft's style is spot on for the direction for this series. OST is awesome as well. This will probably be the first anime I follow week to week in at least 5 years. I'm blown away. Damn right, best first episode yet. My only gripe with it is, once again, the amount of comedic relief. Some of it was really fine and I smiled but some was overdone. Can't we have a decent show without comedic relief or inherent comedy? I feel like all we get is either chibby and/or yelling shit thrown at the viewer's face every few minutes (or seconds) or edgy shows.

I haven't watched Hellsing yet. Is it worth it? I might add it to my watchlist (during season break or if I drop too many shows!) Also, I'll be gone for 1 month, so I'll have a lot of catching to do

Also, I'll be gone for 1 month, so I'll have a lot of catching to do Hm, many people will disagree with me on this but I would say no, it's not worth it. It's basically a three way fight between a vampire hunter organisation called Hellsing, the vatican and the nazis. Hellsing has this freaking OP vampire called Alucard who is batshit insane and carries the whole show. All other characters are insane to varrying degrees and are all craving for fights and blood. It shouldn't come up as a surprise that the whole show is a senseless bloodbath. Oh yeah, and some comedy like in Drifters. If that sounds interesting to you, go ahead and watch it. The production values are decent enough.

If anyone has a clue, that would be an interesting answer. Based off the one episode - no fucking idea. I personally think it's trending towards sci-fantasy and adventure but maybe next episode will be more clear. It works in motion, and a lot of this anime is motion. Lots of things happening, not a lot of exposition and conversation.
