Maybe that makes sense. MC is going off the books of what he reads from fiction of what an MC should do, what an MC deserves etc, maybe he feels like he needs the princess because the MC always gets the princess.

Time of Eve was phenomenal, an extremely well executed drama with a refined cast of characters. The only thing that bothered me were the FPS drops during some of the shots wich made them pretty painful to watch. The ending was satisfying but i'm really hoping Studio Rikka will consider make a sequel someday since there was plenty more stuff they could've explored. Also Dies Irae is coming to steam for all the VN readers here, DI has a reputation of being "untranslatable" so I'm curious to see how it'll turn out.

GitS was great but too short, it really could've benefitted from an extra 20-40 minutes worth of content to flesh out the characters and setting more but I guess that's what Innocence and SAC are for. Nevertheless it had a densely packed story with great execution and very little fluff, would recommend if you're craving for some Sci-Fi/Cyberpunk. I'm glad someone else enjoyed Time of Eve as much as I did, it's my most favorite anime film Both seasons of Stand Alone Complex are amazing works, highly recommend them both, as well as the Soild State Society specials. Haven't seen Arise yet, but I heard it wasn't that good

Yes, the series (SAC that is) does develop the characters far more than the movie does. It's excellent (both seasons are), although a little different from the movie. For Time of Eve you have to consider that it was a set of ONAs, originally. The movie just pieced them together and added a few extra scenes afaik. So fps drops are to be expected because of budget issues. It's not a full feature movie.

She has stolen the show!~ + Show Spoiler + Gotta feel bad for her though. She pours her heart out for Subaru and is essentially obsessed with him at this point. While he does care for her, he only sees himself with Emilia. You can't exactly force him to love her and she was already aware of his feelings prior to her confession, but still, it must feel terrible to continue being by his side knowing you'll never really be with him. Given, I do think she dodged a bullet with how Subaru is full of himself most of the time. Even after having lost everything he cares about several times before the second most recent reset, he still exaggerates his abilities to new heights lol. At least he's using his head a little more ![]()

I saw this two days ago but i can't wait for the king of chuu2 masada to release his superpowered nazi opera vn over here. My vn backlog was already big enough. Now if only they announce muramasa and subahibi/sakura no uta sometime soon and I'll be so happy. Also, it's not really untranslatable. Moogy was trolling when he said it was.

+ Show Spoiler + Thought it's going to suck really badly but it wasn't actually that bad. Not really funny but it was more about being a bit on the cute side this week which is also fine for me. Oh boy, next week onsen episode? :3

haha my thoughts alike. + Show Spoiler + He sticks out his hand twice and in both cases, she's like, what? what do you want? lol >< Given, he's not making it easy either because he could've easily said, take my hand or something but didn't.
