MC is infuriating. Show should have been 3 episodes max. Instead it was an annoying 11 and a decent 12th ep. | ||

looks like the last episode helped subaru as much as i thought. and rem being super awesome. he was pretty tolerable again this episode and i love to see more of the world / more characters. | ||

 For whatever reason I get really infuriated by emotional or feels shows most of the time. I'm a lot more harsh on them compared to other anime, if they fail to move me I tend to think it's awful. Also, most of them have awful characters or awful writing (or both) and Anohana was no different. Maybe it's because I couldn't really relate to any of the characters | ||

Really love emotional shows and I always cry. I even cried when I watched Naruto lol. | ||

Honestly I watched that show at a pretty low point in my life while having fairly into a bottle of JD and a day after marathoning SSY, so my views on it are most likely pretty clouded. Needless to say I cried like a little girl and didn't even realize it was 12 eps. I remember a fat guy, a ghost girl and some hot girl that was emo or something. | ||

To some extent I can understand why people like that show. I feel that it was pretty terribly written and that it probably speaks closer to weak/insecure/or confused people. Everyone in their life may go through a point in that. But I thought it was really poorly written and MC was a dumbass. That's kind of the point though since he's clearly depressed so it may capture how hard it is for a depressed person to move into the most mundane tasks. It's one of the few animes I've watched where I was bored or angry at it 95% of the time until a few touching parts. Slogged through only cause of the high rating. For sadness I prefer things like (episode number spoilers) + Show Spoiler + Death Parade ep 12 (Chiyuki & her mom looked like they were in so much pain)  Clannad AF ep 18 (field) Even FMA;B's blind man OVA (it was just kind of sweet and nice) Tasogare final ep End of Gintama ep 214 (after the credits) Cowboy Bebop - Faye tape and quite a few others. | ||

Holy shit, Blood+ is terrible. Terrible pacing, terrible characters (probably half of the characters are not needed for the story), terrible writing in general. | ||

There's a couple things I don't like about it, like it generally being a really slow start. I really didn't enjoy the early episodes all that much... Not really a fan of the last episode either but I was really hooked for the most part and enjoyed it. The Suzuha episode was probably my favorite. All in all I'll give this an 8.5/10 despite me not really liking the last episode and the earlier episodes because I liked the drama-ish parts inbetween quite a lot. Like I said, that Suzuha episode. Oh forgot: Noire carried like crazy. Suzuha was good but more because of her story than anything else (not supposed to mean that yukarin was bad, I just wouldn't say that's what made the character good whereas Noire became good just because of her voice). And I can't believe I'm saying this but I really liked HanaKana for Mayuri. | ||
