I liked it overall. + Show Spoiler + I liked that they considered relativity and the change in relationship and people due to age (even if they just skimmed it). It was quite a sad but also happy ending. I was surprised that most of the MCs actually survived, albeit in a different time zone. Welcome Back was a sweet message though I wonder who would've remember to light it up and if they knew what to look for (must've been taught in history class since). Damn, gotta feel a bit bad though. Imagine coming back home and realizing that everyone is gone. I mean, sure most of the MCs didn't have as much waiting for them but still. The anime is stylistically pretty different from Gunbuster, but Diebuster's ending............ You won't be disappointed. I don't want to spoil it, but dat ending. | ||

Considered air but I hate the art style even though I watched Clannad lol. Tried clover, not for me. Watched true tears, Clannad, ef and Anohana. Noriko channeling her emotions when they went into the black hole bomb was very emotionally charged and epic! I don't think she had to go that far tbh but w/e, lots of pressure at that point! I remember we rented it from blockbuster when that was still a thing.. Remember a lot of 80s-90s anime.. - Dangaio - Akira - Vampire princess Miyu (or smth like that) - Bubblegum Crisis - Bubblegum Crash - A few others I can't remember - Evangelion (I actually never finished watching this.. got to ep 7-9 and stopped) - Gunbuster I remember Gunbuster being really good at the time. Though I'd be scared to look back at it. ;o | ||
