imo this episode was pretty good, a little more touch on seriousness albeit keeping it's comedic side + Show Spoiler + kinda figured out who the Azure Messenger was from the start but still interesting to see how everything else would turn out | ||

Shizuo is also such a fucking boss. Best character in this series by far. This episode reminded me of it. | ||

That said, if it were an ability, that, imo, would be better justification for the fact that he seems to be absolutely dumb (at least regarding transport and direction). But all in all, I would say that it's actually in my top 3 fav anime this season (I can't decide) and I'm afraid I'm not watching Re: Zero but i might later on when i have time, considering how it seems to be the main fan favourite this season. | ||

Imo it's a bit weird they 100% trusted him, given it's no ability. Whatever, I don't pick on things like that since I can enjoy it anyway, but it's bothering me a little. | ||

I almost caught up with ReZero (ep6) and it's nowhere near as hype for me as it seems to be for other people. Maybe it's because I got spoilered a bit here from people that didn't use spoiler-tags. + Show Spoiler + for example that Rem or Ram killed the MC I mean, so far it's an ok show but it's not top3. Aside from Joker Game, which is easily #1, I would rank Ushio to Tora, Kabaneri, Sakamoto higher (without order - they are all fairly decent but not outstanding). It's probably on the same level of Flying Witch for me. | ||

I also like all the characters so far, even the MC. The comedy from him sometimes is a bit stupid, but overall I don't mind it. For me top 3 would be: 1. ReZero, 2. Ushio to Tora and 3. Magi: Sinbad no Bouken probably. Ass Class, Sakamoto, Flying Witch, Netoge and Kabaneri are up there, and I still enjoy Nijiiro Days. :D | ||

I can't possibly see why that minor spoiler would detract from the show so much, you probably just aren't into it. The show isn't a mystery show or anything. I've read as many LN spoilers as I could and Its still the only show that is "must watch asap" level. | ||

Sometimes the MC is funny, most of the time he is annoying imho. The only character that I really like is Puck and she (?) has not enough screen time. Emilia is decent and that Giant dude was cool but I don't think we will see him again. Well, I don't think you can speak of binging if you watch 6 episodes over the course of 2 days. I don't think I missed something. It's more likely I didn't miss things because I had a rather fresh memory of the happenings. That way I could smell some twists way in advance which didn' really help. Maybe that's the point you wanted to make? And for spoilers I was talking about this thread. Just the anime, not anything manga/LN related. On another note, since you mentioned the Magi side story: Is it better than the original or similar? Sinbad was one of the few likable characters in Magi for me. If i would be the MC in rezero i would focus more on solving the mystery rather than dwelling in the good memories with the girls ffs lol. Like, i would keep calm and go quickly figure out as much as possible (A is the normal route killer, B will become killer if i do X, C when i do X+Y etc), and then go die and reset to New Game, eventually I can decide which girl i like so i would repeat spending time with that girl for building up the relationship etc (which is such an easy way to get the girl when you know exactly what she likes and dislikes lololol). | ||

When he dies HE gets into a new loop but he leaves behind everything in the old run the way he left it, i.e. with him dead and it goes on, just without him. Don't think that's what's going on but that'd top the edgy-scale quite easily lol Just imagine all the parallelworlds with all the PTSD | ||

He also smells like the evil witch that did something to us... I kind of suspect he's some shady guy who's after one of us because witch's orders and all! So the guy disappears for 2 days without saying a word, what's going on Oh fuck, someone killed sis. I'll murder that shady guy Suddenly battle royale between all the mages and god knows why the loli mage is defending him So I finally found him standing in front of a cliff, I'm about to kill the guy, he screams that he loved me and sis and then jumps off the cliff and THEN the next day goes on for her. That sounds like some ruined life if I ever saw one | ||

This a common thing that shows up in discussions of time-loop stories. In ReZero there is no evidence that allows for either accepting or rejecting the theory. | ||
