and i just have to wonder why, unless it's atleast 8~ cours then there's no way it'll be even remotely worthwhile. I already feel like it'll be a disaster.

I already feel like it'll be a disaster. Well, they licensed the novels for english translation. I assume they are going to dub the new show as well (wouldn't make sense otherwise). It would be a horrible mistake to not go for the full thing as is. To me, I dread that they probably will be using lots of ugly cgi. They seem to do a lot of Shounen Ai and Reverse Harem shows. Before their last season stuff I only watched Log Horizon 2nd Season, which was OK, but I was neither a fan of the first nor of the second one. I also watched a bit more than half of their FSN. Back when I told this here you guys told me stop already and watch UBW instead. Until that point I actually liked their FSN and I know there are others that liked it. Dunno if my opinion would have changed after the last ~10 episodes.

Don't think it was my first anime (outside Pokemon, Naruto etc) but fairly sure it was within first 3 animes I watched... and it was amazing at that time. Yuu first waifu ever. And Sent told me to watch Haiyore Nyaruko after that I think. Man just where is KoreZom s3 ![]()

Deen's FSN I think gets worse the farther in you go because I think that is where the greatest amount of them making up stupid anime only plots by combing elements from all the routes is the strongest. Plus you know the whole thing that we will never get a proper adaptation of the Fate route because they have the rights to it, though I guess for most people they don't care as much about Fate because it probably is the least popular route.

They only sold like 2.6k at the end. I think grimgar was top 3 in sales with konosuba and something else.

From MAL (Koyomimonogatari not out yet and won't be until late june/early july): Preliminary DVD & Blu-ray Sales Rankings for Winter 2016 (First Volumes) *1. 12,517 Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! (2016/3/25) *2. *5,779 Hai to Gensou no Grimgar (2016/3/16) *3. *5,251 Durarara!!x2 Ketsu (2016/2/24) *4. *5,060 Prince of Stride: Alternative (2016/3/23) *5. *4,174 Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation (2016/3/16) *6. *3,754 Boku dake ga Inai Machi (2016/3/23) *7. *2,867 Musaigen no Phantom World (2016/4/6) *8. *2,561 Norn9: Norn+Nonet (2016/3/25) *9. *2,419 Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu (2016/2/24) 10. *2,403 Dagashi Kashi (2016/3/16) 11. *2,338 Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hachigakari (2016/3/23) 12. *2,237 Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut (2016/3/23) 13. *2,187 Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) 2nd Season (2016/3/25) 14. *1,801 Schwarzesmarken [Blu-ray] (2016/3/25) 15. *1,688 Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm (2016/3/18) 16. *1,356 Dimension W [Blu-ray] (2016/3/25) 17. *1,182 Divine Gate (2016/4/13) * 18. *1,090 HaruChika: Haruta to Chika wa Seishun suru (2016/3/25) 19. **,389 Luck & Logic [Blu-ray] (2016/3/25) 20. **,383 Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya wo Mezasu (2016/3/25) * But despite both Erased and rakugo not really selling all that well I felt like it was constantly getting love from people who are watching it and talking about it, as did KonoSuba. Those just were the big three things everyone was talking about all the time and I don't think that someone (in my hypothetical scenario) who just started watching anime actually looks at sales.

+ Show Spoiler + This was a very mixed bag for me. Especially the characters. I liked some of them like Emma, Reccoa and Char. Man, when Emma sacrificed herself in the end... Kamille became better as promised, still not a fan of him. The villains are decent, which is a positive surprise for a shounen. I was surprised when Scirocco or Hama Karn actually showed real affection for some other characters. The characters I despised the most were Fa and Katz. Annoying as hell. The story was decent although a bit jumpy at times. It was more interesting though then the original series. I liked the final 10 episodes the most when all came together. There are two things that I really disliked. First of all the continuous use of the same set ups to get everyone out in their mobile suits and create drama, even though they have been ordered not to go. Fa, Katz and the kids went out or created bullshit inside the ship so many times, I stopped counting. And each time everyone was like, "no stop them" into "ok let them go". And the people and charge never learned. They always let them do their bullshit. Also Kamille that always tried to safe the cyber-new-types. He never learned. The learning capabilities of the characters in this show were frustating to watch because they were pretty much non-existent except for Kamille in some cases. The second thing I disliked were the mecha fights. I think it's settled: I'm never going to like mecha fights. To me they are just not exciting at all. Sadly this decreased my enjoyment by a lot because there were lots and lots of fights. Basically every episode. And each fight was so boring to me I almost felt inclined to skip them. Sometimes I moved it into the backround and read the forums when the fight took too long. I think I should mention that I'm not a big fan of shounen fights in general, especially not long ones. And adding mechas definitely didn't help. Overall I think it was good. I definitely do not regret watching this, if only to see it with my own eyes. While there were things I didn't enjoy, there were good things that made up for it. For now, I'm not going to continue with ZZ. I still leave it on my ptw for later to experience the rest of the story. But for now I need a break from mecha (honestly, I watched far more mecha this year then I have ever watched before in my life combined). Sent, you wanted to show me 2 vids. One slap-collection and one about the Scirocco regarding Hentai. ![]()

I remember either a tweet or an interview with the guy in charge of animation saying that they're doing those wonky things on purpose because it looks better that way according to him. Especially in those scenes with fast movement like Aqua+Megumin+Darkness in the succubi episode. And then there were pictures of other stuff he has drawn to show that he really, really likes saggy breasts in general (I think I saw a sailor moon pic from him?) tl;dr: Haven't checked out BDs yet but I doubt they're going to change any of it. Wow, what an excuse! "We animated this like garbage on purpose! Looks better this way!" Do they think they are fooling anyone?

When Scirocco gets included in Crossover Gundam games, hes always out to try and build the biggest harem that he can. If only generic Harem MCs took after this guy... + Show Spoiler + Its a shame you don't enjoy the fights. Honestly Zeta Gundam has some of my favorites. In general they were fast and chaotic, and I liked the mecha design in the show a lot. But to each his own, I guess. But yeah, I agree about Katz. Fuck that kid. At least he got a suitable end. Tried to fight Yazan, and then runs into an asteroid. What a little shit. IMO the best characters in the show were Yazan, Haman, Bright, and Scirocco. Yazan "I'm going to violate you!" Gable gets a ton of love from me for being an Oldtype who just shits on Newtypes via pure skill, while talking about violating them:

Also, while Rakugo didn't sell well, I think it told a compelling story about a form of entertainment not commonly seen in anime. While people were surprised it got immediately lit for a second season, I wouldn't be surprised if the Rakugo Association is somewhere involved in the funding for it.
