I know it was mentioned and I'm fairly sure they had some short story on that... Was that the one with loli hayamin in okinawa and him taking out the ships with the... idk 4-5 bullets? Or am I mixing things up now? Has been a while but it sounds to me like they want to do that as a new story This looks like the movie will take place in the current year instead of reminiscence.

+ Show Spoiler + Poor MiGs got taught some IRL reasons why giant robots aren't ideal anti-human weapons, today.... RIP I liked the Reactive Armor Shield Trap that ended up screwing Lise. Also I liked mechanics behind TSF Knife storage and drawing said knife.

Yeah actually you're right. Like I said it's a clip of anime scenes but it looks like they're all in the present time and otherwise you wouldn't even see the other people on the screen since they only met for the first time in school, derp. It just reads "and so Tatsuya became (known as?) a legend" or something along those lines (?) so my first reaction was what the chinese call him in the series. But tbh you can probably say that about pretty much anything he does followed up by hayamin going sasuga onii-sama HA, the video just got taken down for me as I typed this. I'm enjoying the 2nd half of God Eater alot too! Wish there would be more episodes, portraying the early apocalypse + early fight backs. Wondering how they managed to construct those bases without getting destroyed by the Aragami

+ Show Spoiler + This is what I don't get about MMO like anime with perma death like this one or DanMachi. Why would anyone progress that quickly in a dungeon when there is a real effect of level ups and better gear vs unknown enemies that can actually kill you? There isn't even a contrived reason why they need to rush like in Sword Art Online, they're just adventuring for the heck of it even though they can die. What's even worse it's the dungeon they know Mary has PTSD from so of course let's keep going until we find the monster who killed most of her friends. Series wouldn't be exciting unless the party took risks and the story of these types of series are usually pretty weak, but how can I care about their peril when they should have known the risk.

Mary has a trauma she wants to overcome....but with that party? They probably aren't nearly as competent as the one that got wiped out so you would think she would tell them they aren't ready. I get their need to switch things up so they don't get complacent but going to that particular place seems like a really dumb decision. I guess it can be written off as newbs doing newb things but they all know her backstory so you would think they would be hesitant to go there.

Probably something related to Fate/Extra. Hopefully not another Fate/Extra game, since the game played really awful.

It was a real shame too, because I remember being optimistic when the PV first came out. + Show Spoiler + 99% of the movie's problems lie in the fact that the antagonist is fucking awful. Literally everything bad that happens in the movie is his fault. He is the one who implements the indoctrination everywhere. He is the one who came up with the conspiracy to kill the MC's dad. He is the one who wants to persecute the inverted people. He is literally Hitler, but the way he's presented in the movie makes him more of a mustache-twirling villain than anything else. It makes it really difficult to take him seriously. And because he is the driving force behind the story, the plot also becomes laughable by extension. Heck, why did they even need an antagonist? This concept is good enough that they could've spent the movie just exploring it and doing slice-of-life things. It worked for movies like Spirited Away and Miss Hokusai. I think it would've worked for Patema too. Instead, they squandered an entire movie to tell a cliche story.

I don't think it bothered me much while watching because I felt it wasn't important but you are right: The villain was bad and thus the plot wasn't great, either. I think they could have left the whole doctrine in and just left the supreme ruler in the shadows. Or establish that they have some kind of council. I think that would have been much better.

No. There is no hope for the anime to continue in some years. The best you'll see is another reboot in 10-15 years time. Unless someone murdered the author and took his place nothing will change.

That's some years. But yeah, we will have to see how much the manga actually continues. But it continuing at all is pretty big already, isn't it? I don't know how long nothing came out though.

This is just standard Togashi.
