Sayla appears in like a single scene in Zeta Gundam. Unfortunately, when they were making Zeta Gundam, Sayla was out of the country doing... Something, I forget how the story goes exactly. One thing to definitely take away from Boku Dake is that the mc's mom is the best~

I dropped it a couple months back for that exact reason. Running gags are the heart of a comedy manga, but you still have to mix it up in some way. Ice cream cone eyes are funny the first couple times, but when I can see the punchline coming a mile away, you've screwed up.
The romance actually progressed, which is a rarity. However, I still wouldn't say it was particularly good at selling the development of their relationship. At best, it was just cute.

Lol just watched 7th Koyomimonogatari episode. That was probably the best one so far for me:
