They're talking about Mary etc. in the bar until like 10(?) or more minutes in. Then they fight goblins over and over, without much actual fighting being shown (Yume once again being nice to look at, I admit). But at least they showed some more skills they apparently learned/bought and Yume finally was using a bow (or was it a crossbow? don't remember). Another good thing is the news that they are finally making some progress and apparently are going to another place next time. I skipped the last 2-3 minutes of Haruhiro once again talking with a dead character.
I guess if you are into a slow Slice of Life RPG Anime it's decent. And honestly I'd find it fairly amazing if I didn't know it's just 12 episodes, with this pacing (One Piece pacing basically) pretty much nothing will happen.
Schwarzesmarken EP7 was quite good, nice action ... but at the same time so damn predictable (with that I mean the scene after the Ending).
Rofl same to me skipping that part where haruhiro talking. And goddamn it, I did wonder about how many episode this will be. 12 episodes and they have this slowest pacing ever, so this is another promotion to the LN.
Mary is the cutest. I hope this haru x Mary thing becomes more than a tease. If we are going by 4 episodes per volume, this is pretty on track. The series is just slow in general.
Also, I'm surprised that Deen won this season. Both konosuba and rakugo are some of the highest selling shows this season.

Agreed. I like where the show is headed though. The Beta is too much of a bland enemy to be interesting.
Or a particular scene that has given me PTSD me for.. 4 or 5 years now? MLA is such a good VN.
Hm, didn't impress me. You can get the same thing from the necrons in WH40k for example, only that the necrons are a billion times more interesting despite the fact the you basically don't know anything about them, either. WH40k just did a really good job to create a mystery around them. In Schwarzesmarken it feels like the Beta are just there to promote the mecha squads.

pleeeease. Everyone saw Konosuba dominating the LN sales comming. ~50k sales per week (combined throughout all the vols) for a LN ezpz
But yeah, out of all the studios Deen (lol) actually won this season with just those two assuming there's not some BIG fuck up into mass cancelation comming in the 2nd half of either.
If anything I'm surprised that Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut isn't left further in the dust. It's even beating Grimgar and while I'm not really that much of a fan of the series I feel like it should get more than Bahamut if nothing else. Could just be because Bahamut had a new vol appearing in Jan (iirc?) but who knows.
Also GATE is apparently selling really shitty oO

Oldcrons were just as boring, since they were just mindless robots who go around killing everything for no reason. There wasn't any more mystery around them than there are around the BETA. Or rather, there was less mystery around Oldcrons than the BETA, since they still had a Codex that explained all their shit, while you don't know whats up with the BETA until the finale of Alternative. The main difference is Oldcrons didn't eat people and have their victims all grimdarkly scream "AHHH THEY ARE EATING ME! SAVE ME SAVE ME! BLEHHHHHH!" Newcrons varies, I guess. Trazyn and Zandrekh are hilarious, but the others are pretty meh, and more or less the same assholes as the rest of the Non-Ork-and-Tyranids in the Galaxy. Tyranid would be a better comparison, and I would say BETA and Tyranid are equally used in their respective fictions. Neither have any instance of mindfuckery as CHOMP though, so still a big point for the BETA.
BETA don't just exist for Mecha to shoot at them, the BETA exist for Mecha to shoot at them, and then run out of bullets or get surrounded and then get grimdarkly eaten and killed to a man, especially named characters.
The necron codex explained some shit but left out a lot, which is a good thing. Half of the sources were also from the point of view of other races, mostly humans. It might be that you, because you know about their origin because you played Alternative, feel they are more interesting. However to me, as someone who doesn't know anything about Alternative, there is no mystery at all. Giving no information or asking no questions at all is not creating a mystery. That's because I can personally ask all the questions I want but it doesn't feel like this particular show will answer any of them. For someone who only watches Schwarzesmarken it seems that there will be exactly no backround information regarding the BETA.
In all honesty, small tidbits of information would be enough for me and it's not like they didn't have the opportunity to drop some here and there. For example in exchange for some of the, rather mediocre, drama.
Btw. if I remember correctly, there was one story in the codex of the necrons that had a similar "no hope", "save me" and "getting slaughtered" flair. Yes they didn't eat them because Necrons don't need food. It doesn't change the flair though imho.
Pretty much everything was explained about both the old and new versions of Necrons, I felt.
Anyway, there won't be any answers. Schwaresmarken is a side story, afterall. It won't encroach onto the main series's turf, that would be bad form. The show for TSF action and grimdarkness, not answering the prayers of everyone who has fought so hard. I guess it wouldn't have hurt if they threw in some nods to Alternative II, but meh. At least they aren't throwing in nods to Alternative III, I don't want a repeat of Total Eclipse.

I guess if you are only going for a hopeless flavor in battles against them, pretty much all the "villainous" factions in WH40K have stuff like that.

That ending. O.o I could really see him being her father, but surely didn't expect it. Anyway I guess my prediction with Obi saving her in the end wasn't that wrong, lol. He threw that knife and overpowered that girl when she was threatening Shirayuki. I didn't expect them to already have her rescued in this episode, but I guess it makes sense when you have two princes and so many people following a single ship with the help of that bird to know their location. All that action was a nice change, I'm sure the next episodes will be more quiet again.

A lot of Bahamut is the standard/bad Battle Harem fair, but at least it has based Orange for the CG, most of the grills are cute (other than this one whore who people seem to like for some reason), and the MC isn't Ichika from IS.

Which girl. Everyone likes Krulcifer, celes, and yoruka(next girl after this arc) from what I got. Lisha and phi are definitely not cute
Edit: I decided to watch an episode of phantasy star online after seeing some screen caps and Rina is seriously cute. Lmao. Too bad, the Mc is like cancer
I decided to give Ajin a second try (after a horrible first episode due to me picking a random sub)
If you can survive the animation, it's actually not bad!
Speaking of anime that turned out to be not too bad : Bubuki/Buranki (or whatever it is called) is some mindless action, so it's enjoyable. So long you don't expect too much out of it.

Bubuki/Buranki is OK, at least its CGI is far better than Ajin. The story and characters are rather bad, but the action at times is fun to watch.
Btw: Krulcifer > Celes > Phi > Lisha if we only consider those four. Phi only got boobs, Lisha sucks in general, Celes has nice looks but I don't like her that much else... I like Krulcifer the most. She doesn't have huge boobs, though, which I suppose is why Sent isn't liking her.

Krulucifer a shit.
I refuse to believe a girl who actually kissed the Mc is shit. Her aggressiveness is gr8
By that logic, Sekai in School Days is also "gr8".

No boobs, no ahoge, dislike the archetype, and is a whore. Doesn't even have a personality quirk I like to get some free points. She has a lot going against her.
But Sekai was essentially a "King of Evil", and the villain of the series. It took a Hero of Justice like Kotonoha to finally slay her and protect the world from Sekai's vile rampages.

Well bahamut sold more overall if the january numbers don't lie. But like we both said, they had a new vol just recently so feb could be looking differently. They seem to sell somewhat decently across all vols outside the rankings.
Just checked, so bahamut on ~107k in january. Grimgar on ~54k over all. On phone so can't check the numbers they got from the new vol alone but I doubt that that was 50k+
