+ Show Spoiler + I dont like the wizard, Aqua is fine and I hope Saber clone is better. Its a whole new world but they are playing it like a video game but don't seem that afraid of actually dying. Maybe they will meet up with other Earth people later. Also I don't know if its a translator error or a new fad but I think the MC said bitchy or beetchy which translated to actual bitchy in the subtitles. This a new thing?

I'm not the the one to like school drama things usually, but this one reallly hit me hard, the last ep was so great... I don't really know what to say The question is: What feels? The show didn't manage to connect me to any of the character. Kaori's death was also a sure thing already before the show was halfway finished. I really don't get it with this show. Most of the times I can at least see why people like a show so much, even if it doesn't appeal to me. Here it's different though. I can't comprehend how so many people cried in the end and gave it a 10/10 because of that, even though they have watched 21 episodes of mediocrity that were also part of the show.

Just give him a decent ending with the girl and it would have been just an ok show. Instead they just obviously throw it right in our face early that she will die. Would have been better if they went through this and overcame it together. The mc can relive his fears about losing someone and find his happiness. Instead she helps him get over this traumatic event only to induce another one lol.

Tbh I'm pretty sure that the Geisha was paid / told to like Kiku. Given how Konatsu has a Geisha mom she'll likely end up with Shin-san, which wouldn't surprise me at all. There's gotta be lots of drama coming up and perhaps that's gonna be why the Kiku ended up despising Shin-san's Rakugo.

I don't remember the beetchy/bitchy being used, i watched HS + Show Spoiler + Hmm if you are looking for the serious type of this kind of story in anime then you should probably not watch this. It's so unserious, it's more about comedy and ridiculous scenarios but i honestly found this better than SAO or Danmachi either just make me cringe or just so bad in terms of story and characters.

Exactly, it's a fun anime. Can't get much more unserious lol. Also, must be the first time I've read someone not liking Megumin.

Idr but the manga is about to end (or has ended) and they put out information saying the end will correspond to the mangas. Not all are translated (I think up to chapter 35) but its really close to being over.

+ Show Spoiler + When they serve the dinner and start to convict Yuka the ape has 4 scenes: 1. He tried to steal the bowl with peach (?) but it got taken away to be served. 2. He tried to steal the bowl with melone from the table but one guy grabbed it to get yuko a piece of peach. 3. He tried to steal the peach out of the bowl but it was empty alreay. 4. In the end, he sat there with the remaining bowls, munching those peaches. I thought it could be seen as a parabel to what happened. 1. The men got an idea what she was and made a plan and lured her into a trap to convict her. -->The ape spotted the bowl and got lured in when the bowl was taken away from him. 2. The men and Rie tried to sound Yuka out. She tried to dodge the questions but got more and more into trouble. -->The ape tried to get the bowl but it was ordered away and remained short of his grasp. 3. They convicted her of being a flesh eater. --> The bowl was empty. She was caught in the trap with the initial lure gone. 4. Yuka was free together with Toshihiko. She was saved and got what she wanted. --> The ape finally got his peaches. That's the ideas I got because I think there was a meaning behind those scenes. I would have really like to get some more ideas from other people. Like, I think the mimic etc. is interesting and I like learning about this stuff but the stories told are boring.

He also hates Rikka from Chuunibyou so the resemblence didn't exactly make it better for him lol I liked orange-haired girl more than Rikka in Chunnibyou I found Rikka cuter in Chunnibyou cause she has a somebody who plays straight man on her (well the Rikka on Kono Subu also has one but he's pretty tame , she's still ok though but not my favorite)

Idk, the fact that we knew that she would probably die was keeping me hoping that she would survive at the end or whatever, especially since they gave us that possibility with the surgery. I found myself hoping that she will survive, yet rooting for Tsubaki. The piano added a excellent way to transmit emotions too. I can see why it got such a good score on MAL though : People like me never watch School Romance/Drama, so they don't have much experience of what might be a good anime for the genre.. Yet they see Your Lie in April in the top10, and they decide to give it a try, and since it probably made them cry or at least got some tears in their eyes, they deducted that it touched them hard, so they enjoyed it much. I personally skiped it for a long time before seeing it with the same score as Boku Dake, which share similar tags and one of the best studio.

But i guess some people are ready to forget that just because 'b-b-but she's dying!". I just don't personally see why i'm supposed to get super engaged and care about her illness and eventual death when the series does such a poor job of making the viewers connect with her as a character. Am i supposed to care solely because she's dying? She was one of the main reasons i just had to drop the show, couldn't keep watching.

Megumin VA cosplaying as Megumin while talking about Megumin: + Show Spoiler [pic] + ![]() (also apparently not very skilled at keeping a coin in her eye as a makeshift for the missing eyepatch)

Working my way through Monster atm, at episode 56, hoping to finish it today. What a good anime. Not sure what i'll pick up afterwards though. Either something lighthearted and fun or maybe i'll just continue with something serious.
