And especially if something is presented as completely black and white. Whooooo, MC is good, other foes, evil, usually the men, so much thought went into this I can see already. magic jesus disagrees with that statement

I know he does, but I don't think his opinion matters much > : ( On second thought, neither does mine :v

Edit: I'm enjoying Dimension W at least :v As far as I remember, virtually every battle with Touma in it was a hard fight, where often he would barely survive the fight. And he even lost some fights. Its not like hes Kirito in SAO or GSD Jesus Yamato.

His super power is to make whomever he is fighting fight like an idiot and not instantly kill him.

Chevalier D'Eon! I enjoyed it alot but for some reasons I never finished it. Maybe, like you said, it's because the quality dropped... let me know if you finish it. If so, let me know if it's worth it

I wish Schwaresmarken would throw in some Soldier-Class into those infantry scenes to spice things up. Tank-Class are good nommers, but nothing gets PTSD flairing up like a soldier-class eating someone.

Also kinda makes me wanna try it to see why it is so bad. Go watch it already! Stop taking people's opinions as fact and make your own decision regarding the show! It's really not terrible at all imo. Sure, it has an extreme ending and at times makes you want to pull your hair out lol but I gave it a thumbs up because the author was ballsy compared to all other similar anime. Aside from a couple of things, it also feels a bit more realistic and paints a dark world which is a change from the usual.

My school days were nothing like that but hey, maybe I just missed out somehow. It's like a cheap soap opera you watch and you constantly ask yourself "why aren't they just doing X instead of this ridiculously convoluted plot ... oh right, the drama has to come from somewhere". At any given point this whole show could have ended by just walking up there and saying + Show Spoiler +"yeah sorry, this really isn't working out". Instead we get this weird chick who has never dated anyone in her life, falls in love and because that doesn't work out after like... 3 days she goes full psycho for the rest of the year!?! And you're supposed to feel sad for her (I guess) but the situation being so stupid just makes that utterly impossible and you just end up laughing about the poor kid that gets bullied by EVERYONE in the school because she's fucking crazy.
man that shit made me angry.
But it's fine, because there's that compilation on youtube of all the Bad Endings + Show Spoiler +read: all (?) the endings and you get to watch all the weird shit and laugh as someone gets pushed in front of a train or has his/her throat sawed open with a breadknife.

Most teenage males are philandering douche bags though.

idk, the typical teenage/college girls I know don't + Show Spoiler +sever your head and start going batshit insane after 3 days of dating a guy she didn't even like

yeah but that's like a freak accident talking from a pure point of how often that happens. But every single other girl is like that as well and worse. Idk, maybe I've just been lucky but yes I've heard of that. I luckily can't say that ever happened to me, or any of my friends. So again, it just feels like putting together the most ridiculous over the top scenes you could imagine or you've heard about somewhere for the sake of getting drama because you want drama
+ Show Spoiler +"oh I want you to finally break up with your old girlfriend so you can be in a proper relationship with my best friend! I want her to be happy with you! Also stop cheating with other girls!" and the best way to convince him to do that is by sleeping with him yourself! Multiple times.
Just to get it straight: I actually liked the ending. But you can have that in a way more reasonable fashion by cutting out all the crap from ep1 to ep11. Maybe include something that makes sense, not quite as over the top in every possible way you could think about and you can still have that ending! And maybe at that point you can consider to put some of those super way over the top things back in because if it's just a handful it might actually make sense.

Toad, are you sure you actually watched the anime? It sure doesn't sound like it. Because any time you make a sentence with the phrase "3 days" in it, it seems to be followed or preceeded with stuff that didn't actually happen. Especially since not a single character goes "full psycho" until the very last episode.

I never claimed that the character interactions in IS made sense though
|
You would be wrong then. Go look up what "psycho" actually means. And its hypocritical to criticize School Days for retarded anime harem bullshit when you like an anime thats completely built around such garbage and even goes beyond.
|
You bring this up all the time. Just saying (again), I rated IS: 5/10 and 6/10
Not exactly what I'd write home about calling something good when there's plenty of stuff with 5/10 or 6/10 on my dropped list.
|
Its still something you like, and its still something you like a whole lot more than School Days. And plz, of the anime you have rated highly on MAL, there are so many shitty harem romcom anime on it. How exactly is it okay for them (IS included), but when School Days does it, its somehow the worst thing ever?
|
Cause people like what they like and generally don't like shitty melodrama while forgiving things that are "happier"?
