Wow, the Alliance (at least the secretary of defense) seem like as much of douches as you would expect the Empire to be. And the PKC kills people for speaking out against the country? It seems like both sides in this conflict suck.

The alliance and the empire will not be the same at the end. But I have no idea how it's gonna look in the end. There's Phezzan somewhere out there too. I wonder why the empire doesn't consider Phezzan as a bunch of rebels like they do of the alliance. Can someone explain?

It's neutral (sorry if I offended any Swiss people. I love your cheese!) I can barely picture the next episode let alone the end. This series is so deep already. I wish western TV had stuff like this.

The Alliance on the other hand literally are rebels. It started from a group of people fleeing the empire a long time ago in the past, and starting their own nation outside of explored space. A few hundred years later, the Empire discovers them, and goes "wtf where u come from??? *start of war*". And one of the good things LoGH does, is put lots and lots of grey on both sides of the conflict. It doesn't want you thinking that the Empire is strictly evil, because its a dictatorship, or that the Alliance is all great and nobel, because its a democracy. Both sides have their villians and heroes. Its one of the many strengths of the show.

And Yang was, as usual, promptly laughed off and told to mind his own business and stick his ass back in Iserlohn fortress.

All I'm saying is if the Alliance had more fleets at the time the Empire invaded from Phezzan, they would have probably been able to defend the attack much better. But since Yang and Bucock's fleets were all that remained, they didn't have the man power needed to defend all fronts.

How exactly does the Alliance expect Wang to capture Iserlohn with just 4k ships? Unless they want him to be killed.
