But surprisingly there are almost always people who also like shows that are 100% shit for most people. The other three are imo very enjoyable.
idk, outside of the big franchises that air each season, battle and/or harem shows are among the top most watched shows each seasons. like despite how good some shows are, a lot of people don't watch it like subete ga f.
I couldn't bring myself to watch any of these and dropped them all. Multiple times. Each.
Emnjay and me not being able to watch battle harems says all that needs to be said here I think /// Actually I lied. Never gave Lance N' Masques a chance to begin with.
And the CG in the preview for the new Macross looks worse than Macross Frontier. Its been 8 years and now their CG is somehow worse? How come the only people who can do CG now days is Orange?

Enjoying a show has nothing to do with the show being shit or not. It's possible to still enjoy show even if they are shit.
You're right, but personally I'd never call a show shit if I enjoyed it. I'd maybe say the animation sucks or the characters look bad or whatever, but if I enjoy a show, then it isn't shit in my eyes.
Hm. I think of shows that I enjoy because they are bad in a funny way are still shit. Like Kuusen from last season. I laughed my ass of all the time because it was so damn trashy. Noragami s2 and Cavalry kind of fall into this category for me this season even if they aren't nearly as bad as Kuusen. I don't think it's wrong to admit to enjoy trash from time to time.
I tend to agree with HolydaKing. I find both Gakusen and Rakudai very enjoyable. Sure, they can be improved on in many aspects but still nowhere as terrible or shit as you make them out to be.

I like to summarise the quality of cavalry in one sentence: Is this the back of a man?
On a more serious note: If you consider those shows as good/ok, what shows do you consider as entirely terrible? Or are you on the same length with HolydaKing and shit shows basically don't exist in your world. If it's the latter this whole argument is pretty much redundant.
Every season there are 10-20 shows that no one watches. Problem with lumping above average but not great shows as terrible is you run out ways to describe / distinguish shows that are truly terrible.

Obv Bigfan thinks FMP and Bakemonogatari are trash
Calvary was kinda meh but that one fight between the sister and the president was fantastic.
