Zentraedi have been space elves for a while. Definitely in Frontier, and I'm pretty sure in 7 too. Either they are giant green abominations now, or miclonized space elves. Which doesn't really make sense considering SDF had Zentraedi being human as a plot point.

Well iirc Exsedol and Millia were certainly not elves in 7. But most of the elfish looks I noticed were on the Meltlandi, especially in Frontier. Didnt make sense to me either, but not something I give a shit about tbh.

Exsedol was a giant green abomination. I don't remember Millia's ears, but IIRC the Drummer was a space elf. Seems like Mylene's ears were pointy too.

Exsedol's look in 7 is his look in DYRL, is what I mean. He looked like a person in SDF, but male Zentraedi all look like giant green aliens in DYRL and later entries, while they are giants.

good episode of ushio to tora this week. this show has had some ups and downs for me but it looks like it's gonna end pretty strongly which is always a huge plus in anime for me. typically shows have great starts and peter out in the middle and end badly. this one started good then went down halfway through the episodic middle part but is coming back strongly + Show Spoiler + even with the ridiculous premise of "you girls who ushio saved must now save him from becoming a monster by combing his hair"

while i haven't watched ushio to tora there's a second season coming already in spring 2016 for what it's worth, incase you didn't know

Ushio to Tora is really solid imo. There are a few episodes that aren't that good but overall the show is rather good. The recent episode was good too, like you mentioned. I'm curious how this show continues and ends!

I haven't seen the most recent episode but I completely agree with this sentiment, especially with the bolded part.

It's some kind of split cour. 2 cour now and another one cour in spring, so one season break. I don't really know why they did this but oh well. I'm really not a friend of split cours but I can see how they benefit the studios business-wise.
