Such a silly premise that no one thought would be anything more than moe pandering turns out to be a very solid sports show where the moe is just background noise. edit: In other news, I finished S1 of Kuroko no Basket. I was not expecting it to be this good. Sports anime have this weird way of just hooking you if they good enough and don't let go. Helps that the goddess that is Chiwa Saito is in this without me realizing before watching. It's not quite Chihayafuru level. At least not yet. edit2: Sometimes anime villains make me scratch my head. This S2 Kuroko no Basket team that intentionally players dirty and injures the opposition is one such case. All I can think of is "Why don't any of these huge basketball people just wait until these guys are alone and beat the shit out of them until they stop doing that". Like all the schools that played them would just gang up and do that. At least that's how I'd do it. If they want to hurt people on the court well then can't complain when 50 guys gang up on them outside the court. That kind of chaotic evil villain is just dumb. | ||

I don't know much about what Gundam Thunderbolt is. Apparently it takes place in the One Year War? I've also heard that its some sort of Alternate UC setting (which I hope it is, OVAs and manga have already crammed in too many other Gundams into the One Year War). I've also heard that this is going to be a 2D Mecha anime (yesssssss), and possibly a TV series. I doubt that, though, its probably going to be an OVA series like Unicorn or The Origin. | ||

That anime was so mediocre aside from the art and the Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-kuns. Hanakana gets a bad rap because her fanboys are so crazy and immediately go frothing at the mouth for mostly any character she plays. | ||

First arc : Tiger was ok. Hanekawa POV was interesting, allow us to learn more about her life. Too much fanservice though (with the bath scene). I'm at the Second arc : The Time Travel. Very interesting (I always enjoy time travel stories). | ||
