While Alibaba is filled with doubt a lot, his character never backed down in the end and strived to do what's best. I don't know about Magi anime but the manga is still in my top5. I'm kinda sad that it doesn't have that much success here.

Luna might be the lady at the counter? Don't think she ever got a name in the source, did she?
At least she looks like the kind of woman I'd describe as "there are 3 lines here, 2 are completly free but the third one has a pretty lady" or whatever it was.
But I'm not really digging those char designs 
I also still have no idea what they're going to cover. Only LN1 in 1 cour would be super slow and they'd have to make plenty anime original (which has the chance to be good!)
Up to LN2 would be the biggest cliffhanger ever but they could just leave out the epilogue I guess.
Up to LN3 would have to be super rushed in 1 cour

Those character designs are kind of really bad. It seems too bright and feels like something is off.

Aqua seems really off for me. The color of her hair is way brighter than the illustrations have her hair but on the other hand that's closer to what she's actually described as iirc?
Kazuma's cloak could be a bit darker to make him look more shady but imo he doesn't look as bad as on the original thing from DEEN if you look at the video.
Darkness & Megumin seem decentish from a character design pov. I don't like their eyes but I don't like any of their eyes and that's just the studio I guess.

Kazuma's fine as well I guess. But Aqua really is lacking that Elsie-factor somehow (elsie from TWGOK). No idea how else to describe.

I generally find any manga/book that is about music is better in a form with actual sound. Stuff like Full Moon o Sagashite and Nodame. Then there are things like DMZ where the manga was better (since I dislike the music, meaning it was easier to skip in the manga), though both are great, so not that big difference.
One Punch Man anime is also better than the manga as of episode 4 (was a long while since I read the start of the manga, so might remember incorrectly).

Its very good. Just don't expect for it to be some action-packed battle anime, since other than a few really good fight scenes, there is very little fighting in it.

been watching Gantz. Pretty bloody anime at times.
also, i have Baccano dl'd and ready to watch next....i heard the dubs were actually good and some ppl felt better than subs...opinions on this?

Yeah you can say that. But each arc are related to each other more than KnK.

Dub. The voices fit the characters way better and it's a lot more enjoyable as well.
