But to answer the question: Uta is an actual harem (rather than anime harem). + Show Spoiler [from first game] +If true, Kuon was conceived in the middle of first game, though that got left out of the anime for reasons. Also explains why she got mad hops, as she was raised by Oboro.
Is the game translated in Eng? I seem to recall something like that available on PSP.

So I watched Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro today as planned. This was good enjoyment, I liked it. The general story was pretty generic but the way in which it was done was rather unique. The characters and ridiculous action were king of course.
Totally makes me want to check out the other installments of the series, even though Spazer said that they have a vastly different flair to them.

What I want from a Lupin work is elaborate setups, general craziness, and humor. Castle of Cagliostro has some of that, but it's not quite there compared to something like, say, First Contact.

I have added OPM to my fun must watch shows every week which now makes it a total of 2 shows a week. And then there are the thrashy battle harems and stuff that I will watch when I am bored.

Yeah I started the new Uta thinking it's not a sequel, but some people on MAL (and apparently also here) seem to think it's important to watch the first one. Apparently some characters will reappear and perhaps something more. As the new Uta is one of my favourites of this season so far, this will be what I watch next.
