Leon became a pretty good main character imo. He went through a lot of development from ep 1 to 24.
Hopefully this one has less suffering.
E: on that note there's an episode 25 coming with the last BD for the first series, hoping it's about Ema.

That censor bar blocked a huge chunk of the screen. I don't think it was quite as bad as the first couple episodes last season. But yeah, definitely ecchi bordering on "just a little longer in the scene and it's gone to hentai".

Blue hair girl was the highlight of this episode. Her character matches the princess really well, rofl. Aside from that... nothing special really. That weapon thing was completely obvious to happen. As for the next episode, it looks like there's some Ecchi coming. ![]()

Guilty Crown is a weird anime ; I have mixed feelings about it. Visually + musically, it was pretty great. But the story/execution wasn't really great, and the second part was ridiculous.

But they supposedly aren't releasing volume 1 until summer 2016, what the fuck slow press. I was told the translator already got his volume 1 to work on like a month ago but somehow it'll be almost a year for volume 1 to be released, i really fucking hope they aren't going for the typical yen press super slow release schedule that falls further and further behind the original. Also regarding guilty crown: Animation and music were neat, anything else was absolute garbage imoimo. Only ended up finishing it because i was watching it with a friend.

Ehh, the release date of the first volume really isn't important. Its the cycle for every other volume after. Usually they release every 3-4 months(like sao) after the first volume is released but they could go longer too. Mahouka has like a 6-7 month release schedule after the first volume :o Would be unfortunate if overlord suffers that long of a release schedule but its not too bad since there is only 9(?) Volumes released right now.

+ Show Spoiler + I know the release of the first volume has little to do with the release schedule afterwards, but i'm amazed it'll take that long before the first volume is released when i know that they've been working on translating it for quite some time already. I also feel it's a bit dumb to wait for that long after the anime has ended before releasing it. I know that Danmachi benefitted from already having 2 volumes released while the anime aired. But for example spice and wolf had 6 month release schedules for years until they finally reduced it to every 4 months. They're still not done with spice and wolf, and the official LN ended in 2011 and they've been translating it since 2009. They didn't get the nickname slowpress for no reason, they released the translations for S&W at a slower pace than the LN was coming out in japan in the 2009-2011 time frame. Like i could understand not releasing them too close to eachother to not catch up, but god damn. I wish they'd release stuff they were that far behind on at atleast 3 or 4 months between each volume and then just slow down after catching up. 6 months is far far far too long between volumes. I mean you say it isn't too bad for Overlord since it's only 9 volumes, but that's still 4½ year and by then the official will be even further ahead and online fan translations will also be much further ahead, it just imo discourages me from buying it to begin with until they've released it all just incase they drop the series before finishing it. I still want official DxD LN translations though, mostly because the fan translations are god awful. But if DxD had a 6 month release schedule then it'd take more than 10 years to catch up to where the LN is today, lmao. Even every 4 months would still be over 6½ year just to catch up to today.

This duo reminds me of Spice and Wolf, though it's obviously not close to the same. Way more action packed so far, and I like it. That nobel using magic looked stupid as hell. :D I wonder what the MC will be doing in the later episodes.

I don't like Jew/slow press either but they're the only one officially translating and beggers can't be choosers. Best choice IMO would either be learn Japanese or just read fan translations and buy the yenpress books to support the author and for collection purposes as they come out..
