not so much not a girl as in "might be a boy" but just that we have no idea WHAT she is and wether she's even a human at all.
I am pretty sure that Ougi is an apparition of Araragi. The way that the characters are drawn is influenced by the person who is looking at it (or, rather, whose narration we are following at that time). There is a reason why Ougi's eyes are completely black, which makes the character look inhumane. Ougi also had knowledge about where the charm, that transformed Nadeko into a god, was hidden - which only Araragi himself should know. Meme never mentioned a niece iirc, too. Oh, and Ougi has knowledge about what Araragi remembers about the past, which sparked the whole "how does Ougi know it?" thing. Seems like a pretty solid indicator that Ougi is part of Araragi himself.
I guess we'll see how correct that is in the next weeks...

The pilot episode is pretty slow haha but i like it.
Same here... I actually enjoyed the first episode, it was a fairly neat introduction to the two main characters and Nishinosono seems like an awesome female lead. Whether or not I'm going to continue with it depends on how the next few episodes progress, though.
not reading s3 yet either, my idea so far has always been: + Show Spoiler +
that she IS actually related to Meme in some apparition way. Either him being taken over as she pretty much appeared the same time he left or something else. They're making a pretty big deal out of him missing and noone, not even Hanekawa being able to find him. Both Meme's as well as Ougi's way of acting seems very similar to me on a basic level: both seem to have a thing for "smoothing things out" in one way or the other. In meme's case it's that he wants to make sure all parties involved at least have a fighting chance (see Kizumonogatari) so he gave a helping hand not because he fancies Araragi over the vampires but because he thought it would be fair for him to at least have a chance. Ougi on the other hand smoothes things out by making them the way they're supposed to be had noone interfered. Like how Mayoi is a ghost and should move on at some time. Meme also knew about the talisman since Araragi got it from him in the first place.
That being said, you could be right and I actually like your idea now that I think about it. All that Ougi-thing about making things how they're supposed to be. If you look at how Araragi saved the girls and they ended up in a better situation. So maybe Ougi's supposed to bring that back into "balance" and really stems from Araragi's past actions because she thinks Araragi's involvement in these things should not happen the way they do.
Hey guys, just back in time in the anime world for the new season. I recently bought a videoprojector, so I can now watch anime with a 3m diagonal screen, in 1080p and 60 fps (with SVP). I seriously hope One Punch Man is as good as its manga, and worthy of dat viewing setup.
Edit: Off to a good start, Haikyuu was amazing, as expected.

It's a matter of taste. I think it looks amazing, done right (and SVP does it right in 95% of the cases). I know some in this thread have said they didn't like it, though I don't think you can objectively say it looks terrible. It's more a question of respecting the original material vs having smooth pannings and fancy flowing fight scenes and shit. I myself only use it for animation though, it really does look weird for TV shows and movies.
I thought it looks much better than the original but never went to the length of actually getting information about it. It certainly did not look horrible. Though, since I havn't actually used it myself it could very well be that there are situations where it just doesn't look right.
Here's hoping funi actually subs Garo today, i'm so excited even though the changes in staff worry me a bit. I hope the CG isn't too bad, it was great in "Honoo no Kokuin"
sigh, dont pay attention for like a day and have 200+ adt posts.
Im not gonna watch anything this season until it gets further into the season so i can just marathon a few eps of everything i wanna try. in the meantime i've started into my p2w list, and also watching first seasons that have sequels airing.
right now im watching guilty crown, about 10 episodes in...seemed pretty interesting, but now all hells breaking loose and i'm not sure how i like it. it's good i guess.

those muscle man abducted him, all sitting in the car and flexing their boners at him. xD
But even the synopsis tells you that it is the most obvious harem ever.
I was rather underwhelmed by the adaptation. Might have just been that the sub quality was terrible but I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as I have the manga.
Do I need to watch first season of Garo to watch second season? Don't think I do right? Completely diff setting with diff characters entirely not relevant to first season? Or will there be an overarching plot to it.
watched EVA movies 2 and 3 today. Wow 3 was mind blowing, no wonder it caused some major outrage lol. I like 2 quite alot really, those changes were good; 3 is good to see what they did to shinji but the story development is just weird, if i paid to watch it in cinema i would be mad.
I just realised that I probably watched Haruhi chronological instead of broadcast order. I just followed the episodes in the order they had been listed by kissanime. However, the episodes felt so disconnected to me. Like the end of an episode didn't fit with the beginning of the next one. At first I thought this was just the show. But it got more and more fishy so I checked Numy's pic. Turns out ep10 is the first island episode on kissanime but according to the pic it should have been ep6. -.- Kissanime, pls, why? This is going to be a hassle, searching for the right episode each time. -.-'

You can watch it, there should be no connection at all as far as i know. However if you didn't you should watch Honoo no kokuin as well, its first cour was alright with a few weird episodes but its second cour was great.
I'm gonna watch the first episode of Guren no Tsuki in like 10 minutes so i'll update this post if it's connected at all, but it really shouldn't be.
E: Yup, not at all related as far as i see. I'd still recommend watching the first series first though, i think the first series was a better introduction to the way the setting works just judging from the first episode anyway. A lot of smaller details are introduced again without being introduced or explained, though they might explain those in ep 2 or 3 or maybe further down the line. Thoughts on the first episode: The opening was good Seimei is cool and so cute, glad she's supposedly the MC Raikou is alright I really like the background art CG is worse than last garo anime but still alright, gonna miss the sweet garo, zoro and gaia CG from the first anime Not much to say about the plot yet though
I liked the episode, hoping this turns out to be just as good as the previous series
I think this Garo can become better than the former ones. The girl is pretty and cool, the guys seem alright too. In the old Garos I only really liked the father of the MC (idk the char names anymore).
I also thought the CG was pretty good. Looked badass.
