There's a new OVA? What? Where?
They made a new OVA as advertising for the VN. I randomly searched for it on TT today.

Anyways it's probably the best SoL/romcom anime that i have ever seen about a group of people living in a dorm/apartment. Nothing captures it better than Maison Ikkoku and Kawai Complex.
kawaisou is one of my favourites after watching it, i think Hanasaku Iroha is a pretty good one about people living together even tho its not really a dorm/apartment.
Will kwaisou get a second season? ive been reading the manga but it seems pretty slow in terms of when the english chapters come out. im not sure if its on pace with the japanese ones does anyone know? if the japanese one is super far ahead (enough to make a second season)
Finally finished season 1 of Fairy Tail, all 175 episodes. Binged that in like a 2week time frame, onto season 2 sometime later this week, only half as many episodes haha. Pretty awesome so far, love it.

I think the only time I've heard good English in anime recently is from T.K. in Angel Beats! Everyone else sounds like MC after a few shots at HomeStoryCup.

This is what it sounded like and I heavily dislike american sitcoms. I just don't find them funny at all.

The blond guy that was with Five in Zankyou no Terror actually had good english. Or he just sounded so good because of the contrast with Five's absolutely terrible english.

God Eater felt like it had so much potential, but undevelopped. I want to see more despair, more devastation from their post-apocalyptic world. Instead, I see some random skirmishes, cut with random flashbacks that seem sometimes out of place, and a MC is lacking ; sad
While I have zero knowledge of how well Arslan has sold, I would be surprised if it got another season.
Had pretty amazing ratings in japan afaik(TV ratings, not ratings by otaku). It getting a second season isn't too unlikely imo, but probably wont happen soon.

Well it's not exactly like american sitcom cause you know it's anime and the humor is kinda different from the two but that should give you a gist of it. Anyways it's just the setup i meant it's usually about just characters doing slice of life things and oh did i mention all the cast are in different age groups there are office worker, old woman, a college student and highschool oh there's even an elementary school kid.
I figured that you just wanted something you can sit back relax and laugh at if you really don't like kawai complex. Well outside the ones that are already suggested by the others there's Hyouka, Chunnibyou and Nodame Cantabile. While they have little bits of drama i can assure you it's not that cringy.

//yay, my first volume of OPM arrived! Good start of the day.
I'm still waiting for them to release vol 3 and 4 Was so nice to have the art in physical form though.

Haha, no worries goody. I'm just not the type of guy that likes schadenfreude. As for the drama, it's not about being cringy or not. I generally like drama, I just can't have it right now. Like, K-ON drama is already too much for me, lol. As said, Barakamon seems perfect atm. And atm. it seems like I'm going to burn through it more quickly than I hoped so I will probably watch Haruhi after that.
As for Rurouni Kenshin: Watched the first two episodes. While I'm pretty sure that it gets more tense later on, I don't have the power right now to plow through I don't know how many episodes where I can predict the outcome 10-15 minutes in advance. I will pick it up again later and try Black Lagoon next.

Yeah, it feels really good. I also laughed at the "Stop, you are reading the wrong way" with the following explaination of how to read manga at the end of the book. xD I guess they kind of have to do this but I found it hilarious. Still waiting for vol2. Germany, pls.
I fucking lost it at 3:20. Her explanation at 4:00 and the "victory dance" or whatever you want to call it is just amazing
I lost it at "shut up"...
idk what her broken translation translates back into in English so I don't really find it that funny =\
"I am maji!"
she's going: 私は将来を見ている、あなたを訪ねるために which is something like... "I'm looking into the future... to meet you" as in, like a stalker who's figuring out your schedule, where you're going to be, at what time so she can use that information to run into you and meet you.
