It's not like they couldn't get it down before winter season, it's just that their best bet for airing it is winter. I'm guessing they didn't want to do like Shaft did with that music show where it went super horrible quality on some scenes and instead delayed eps which just snowballed. they only had the one OP that was super troll quality iirc? Also unlike K-on, the show actually had lots of music in it and thus that's where the budget went. So the animation on average was just plain worse than anything else from Shaft because of that. But like I said, that one OP was the only thing that really stood out I think.

Anyways it's probably the best SoL/romcom anime that i have ever seen about a group of people living in a dorm/apartment. Nothing captures it better than Maison Ikkoku and Kawai Complex.

What was that ending? It literally resolved nothing. What a terrible show. It ended up being real disappointing after the first few episodes.

I just finished it and literally sat in my chair thinking "was that supposed to be the ending?". I mean, they just cut in the middle of the action. Not like NGNL where they cut of after a great event, no just in the middle somewhere. Nothing was resolved, nothing was explained, everyone was in the middle of some tense action and then it cut. I have never seen an ending like this before. This can't be real. wow. wtf. I can't get it into my head. That's like a level above Umaru-chan script writing. The movie(First 2 eps) is something I never watched before, it's a bit weird not jumping straight into the battle and it pushes the whole Yang/Jessica thing a bit more than I remember. Although I don't remember much :< As for a remake, I kind of don't want it. Feel if they remake it now it'll be all CG without the hand drawn effects which I just love too much. Hand drawn effect just feel so cool to me. Shit, you will probably finish your rewatch before I finish the series. I don't think the hand drawn space battles look good. The ships breaking looked good though but the laser beams were........ Though I agree that I much prefer hand drawn fights to CGI. It's just that good CGI would probably look much better than what the fights look in the old version because I don't think it was well done.

I can attest to this. == Kenshin after the Shishio arc is basically trash. The level of ridiculousness keeps climbing. Just when you think it can't get any worse than this, they spring something new on you. I got up to the 2nd to last episode before giving up. Just couldn't put myself through anymore of it. Watch the Tsuioken OVA too! I really liked the story telling style and color schemes.

Yea LoGH isn't really a good example of hand drawn effects but dam I just have a hardon for those ship explosions. Think it may just be one scene they reuse most of the time.

I guess they are supposed to be watched after the series? On September 28 2015 04:31 Numy wrote: Prob not, I'm going slow. Only one ep 5 I think. As much as I'm interested in the LOGH Remake, I can't say how much of that interest is me actually looking forward to it. Given how good the original was, realistically, a remake can only be worse. How much worse remains to be seen, but you can't improve upon perfection, at the very least. Coincidentally, Kenshin before the Shishio arc is pretty much trash too. For the first like... 28 episodes or something, there are like 3 or 4 worthwhile episodes. And then all the sudden + Show Spoiler + Saito shows up, and everything about anime gets soooo much better its hard to believe its still the same anime.

Losing in Gungi and then ripping his army out as an apology LOL. What a leader Been entertaining watching him lose game after game but I have a feeling that he'll be dead soon enough. How? I have no clue who can defeat him seeing as no one matches up to his strength. I do hope he doesn't die on having technicality or by trying to save the girl somehow or some other random crap. I want him to lose a straight up fight at full strength!

God Eater felt like it had so much potential, but undevelopped. I want to see more despair, more devastation from their post-apocalyptic world. Instead, I see some random skirmishes, cut with random flashbacks that seem sometimes out of place, and a MC is lacking ; sad ![]()

Will kwaisou get a second season? ive been reading the manga but it seems pretty slow in terms of when the english chapters come out. im not sure if its on pace with the japanese ones does anyone know? if the japanese one is super far ahead (enough to make a second season)
