Also, in the same vein, how is G Gundam? I want to get into the franchise and it looks like it fits the bill
Scryed Shin Mazinger Z Jojo Gunbuster Giant Robo G Gundam Godannar New Getter Robo GaoGaiGar (if you are okay with Monster of the Week, episodic stuff. Which you should be, if you are a Rider fan) *GaoGaiGar Final is super good, and more than fits what you are asking for, but requires watching the former first Symphogear (but you already rewatched it) Shin Jeeg Mazinkaiser SKL Gurren Lagann Red Line Gaiking
G Gundam is pretty good. Most Gundam shows tend to go the "real robot" route, while G Gundam is Olympic Pro-Wrestling with Giant Kung-fu Robots.
This could be one of the most interesting Anime this season!
The story so far seems to offer a similar setting as SAO. The atmosphere is slightly different and I am curious to see what direction the show will take!
G-Tekketsu hypeeeeeeeee111!11 Sunrise saved Anime (and Gundam) once again.
>hand-drawn mechs, 5 diff designers. >Earth is a bad guy >In order to upgrade your machine, you gotta kill (or capture) sum enemies >Dougram grunts and locations vibe. >Nagano style main Gundam >Military setting, strong unique supporting cast. >All Gundam have demon names. >guerilla tactics, post-war setting >OST is written by the Neptunia, Game of Laplace, Your Lie in April guy >no more blatant UC pandering and SEED inspired pacifist MCs.
It took Sunrise two major flops (AGE and G Reco) in a row to recognize who is their main audience is, but it's totally worth it imo. Mari Okada is crazy good at handling serious themes and working out the setting (DT Eithron, Nagi no Asukara, Simoun, True Tears, Selector Wixoss, etc), and this show should be the highlight of her career (has she done any kind of 4-cour show before that?), fingers crossed.
The dude with the white hair... that huge chunk of hair in the front bothers me more than it should.
Sunrise.
inb4 tomino "I hate all these otakus destroying my franchise" when G-Tekketsu blows G-Reco out of the water. When there's a team that knows how to generate sales and manipulate everyone's emotions, i wouldn't put anyone near Nagai and Okada mari except like maybe Maeda Jun.
@Kipsate, your wish granted, hehe. The main grunt unit line will be equipped with axes/maces and here is the sneak peak of the near future... Yeah, that one has a skull.

Sounds like you enjoy reading LN that are going to be butchered in adaptions.
edit: Dammit Shinjou is so adorable and lewd it's lovely. Finally at the automations gear, dis gonna be good.
is there a website where you can find out if different companies are going to making what anime in the future like what they have planned, might not be like next season but somewhere down the road, for example like if there will be a second season of bokura wa minna kawaisou

not that I know of. If anything I highly doubt those kind of people are planning on anything if a second season hasn't been announced around when the first finished airing. So if there's going to be a 2nd one it might be some random "why not try that again" rather than an elaborate plan to air season 2 exactly 2 years, 3 months and 14 days after the first one aired. At least if there has been exactly and only 1 season of *insert show* so far. If your show has already had 2+ seasons it might be a bit different but that's not the case for bokura wa minna kawaisou
but no idea how reliable that is. It has some of the more known ones (Kizumonogatari when ). At the same times it's missing some I know off the top of my head like boats season 2.
btw: HOLY FUCK WE'RE GETTING OWARIMONOGATARI NEXT SEASON? Why did noone tell me about that
