Meidos are all automatically meido-tier at the very least which is pretty high in my book. Takes a lot for a meido to be removed from meido tier.
Ryuu is definitely the far superior meido though, since she's overall #1 in the show.

I never cared about final fantasy. But there are plenty of playful mature girls. I mean compare Ema to Lara in garo. Ema is older but far more "playful" while Lara is younger but far more doting and reserved.
Age has little to do with it. It's just easier for an author to have the playful characters be the one that is younger.

I don't prefer characters based on if they're playful or reserved, some of my favourite characters are incredibly reserved whilst others are incredibly playful.
I just realized White and Black are both anime original, how the hell will they handle it if they have to make a season 2? Continue with anime original storylines with the anime just being an alternate version of the story?

According to Advent Children, Aeris was a mother type. So basically this makes Aeris a Lalah Sune, which in turn means she was also a former prostitute and a newtype.
ff7 aeris she was playful and youthful and became a mother type later on, which was portrayed very strongly in advent children but obviously a lot had happened since then and her mischievous, carefree self that we saw flirting with cloud in the first half of the game before she had to accept such responsibility
to be more specific, aeris was never whored, she got rescued before that happened
