And lol at your last sentence. At first I thought you wanted to say that new animes that are coming out are shit with "Humanity has declined".^^ Well, I think you have a point but I probably won't stop watching a handful of shows each season. I just like to put in my two cents and discuss things way too much. : / I also tried watching Katanagatari with a friend a few weeks ago and she fell asleep during the first episode. To be fair, she was already pretty sleepy before and such a dialouge-heavy show wasn't helping it. The only point that we agreed about afterwards was that we didn't like the character designs, lol. I guess I have to watch it alone at some point. : / I guess I will start with something from your list after finishing up Canaan. But there is so much high-priority shit on my list. Things like Texhnolyze and Tatami Galaxy are even waiting on my harddrive already. I also forced another friend of mine to finally watch GitS:SAC because he was on holiday and had a lot of free time on his hands because of that. o/ So far, he had only watched the movies (in his youth and then again with me) before. He loved s1 a lot.  | ||

As for Owari, I ask because even if the animation was rather shit I'm wondering if how lackluster the story "peaks" felt were because of the studio of just the original story. The whole "timeskip" after the initial confrontation was so lazy it made something mediocre even worse. I just rep Iroha any chance I get since it's so under-watched. Same with Jinrui. They are both far easier watches than Katanagatari or the other two you mentioned. Unless you like crippling depression after watching a show. | ||

A lot of the owari no seraph stuff in the anime is anime original. There was one episode that only adapted 1 chapter for instance. | ||

Like how the anime only allows 2-3 episodes for a match compared to 6 or so by Kuroko. Made it feel a little less disjointed which is always a good thing imo. Was glad that they made them lose to Aoba though. Would've been funny if they just went to nationals by the end but that just means that they'll likely reach and win nationals in the second and/or third season if there is one. | ||

It's not like it's easier or faster to draw/animate compared to the average anime. It's just an art style. If you wanna see lazy animation watch denpa kyoushi | ||

All in all a 4.5/10 for me. I was considering putting it at 4/10 on MAL but it's not bad enough to be on the same level as haganai so it ends up having the benefit of being rated the same as IS and Seitokai Yakuindomo (2nd season) for me despite being a bit worse than them. | ||
