Touno allegedly failed to file 120 million yen (around US$996,438) in royalties from the printed versions of his MAOYU and Log Horizon novels for his income tax report in a three-year period ending last year. Then go watch the 3rd movie. Movie 1+2 were just the series redone but if you already watched them in BD quality that's perfectly fine and you don't need to watch them. Rebellion on the other hand is something new. | ||

It just looks plain better in pretty much every regard. It's apparently an artsy hipster thing according to people like Sent ZNF liked the art in it as well iirc, so go figure. If you didn't already love it in the originial series you're not going to have much different feelings towards it either way and it might just be meh for you. I for one really adored that style, same reason I really loved the ED in nisekoi's 3rd OVA above anything else.As for rewatch potential... I honestly never watched the complete movie 1+2 either, just skimmed through and even found stuff I considered to be done better in the original BDs at some points. Like sayaka's fight: I really liked the more plain music from the BDs in that scene a lot better. On the other hand the lines from Sayaka in that scene ARE way better done in the movie). For me... not really worth watching like 4 hours? + Show Spoiler [youtube, Movie version] + + Show Spoiler [youtube, BD version] + Movie 3 should be watched if you liked the series no matter what though. Something that shouldn't really spoiler as it's from the first couple of minutes: and it just looks plain better with every passing second into the movie... for reasons... sadly that'd all spoiler a lot | ||
