I also didn't think Tatsumi would die, at least not the way he did and was pretty sad. Chelsea, Mine, Susanoo, Lubbock etc... all had pretty sad deaths imo. Too bad :/ Also, make sure you spoiler tag the post above fast before someone who wants to watching AgK reads it ;; well, i am glad i didnt watch the anime, the mange though for now we know + Show Spoiler + the rifle girl didnt die, just went into vege state

I'm kinda new to anime, although I've seen most of the classic (mainstream?) movies, most of them by Studio Ghibli. I've just finished NGE and i was blown away by the first half and then mindfucked and kind of let down by the latter. Any suggestions where to go next? You can find my MAL here. Hello Robaq, Check the the recommendation link on the mod note above. It has some great stuff listed there via category. You should check the categories space opera , mystery suspense, sci-fi , psychological and mech since that seems to be the type of shows you are into according to your MAL. You watch a lot of mech anime you should ask sentenal. He's the guy who is sooooooooo into mech here. You can also read his guide for mecha and gundam. If you'd like to. From your MAL I'd say you'll like: If you want serious shit: Gundam Seed - this is like the good gateway gundam i think (you can ask sentenal for maybe more appropriate mech suggestions since he's the resident mech expert here ) Shingeki no Kyojin - it got flaws but it's a fun watch Black Lagoon Semi-serious shit with comedic relief: Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Full Metal Panic Baccanno Planetes Katanagatari For light-hearted not so serious anime i'd recommend: (most of them have romance element) Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou - it's funny but sometimes the humor is kinda green Clannad + Clannad After Story - it may be a bit slow of start but it covers highschool romance into after-highschool into married life. Maison Ikkoku - if you are ok with really long and old anime Hajime no Ippo - boxing anime (sports anime are really fun)

Anyone else thought of Satousan when he mentioned only watching Ghibli? Lol Try Shirobako, currently airing 2-cour slice of life anime. Other than that, if you like "mind fuck" anime, then the psychological category in the rec imgur mod note will do you well.

Looks like you should get into satoshi kon You should watch these movies in this order Perfect Blue -> Millenium Actress -> Tokyo Godfathers -> Paprika All solid psychological films. If you want to see more mecha Watch Gundam zeta (which i see you are already watching) -> Gundam ZZ -> Char's Counterattack -> Gundam Unicorn Full metal panic -> Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid Code Geass: Fun mecha show. I think everyone should see it since it's a good gateway show. If you want more things that are sort of like eva in that they are psychological and mecha try Rahxephon Bokurano If you like ghibli, you should try some of Isao takahata's films as well. Kiki's delivery service Grave of the Fireflies Kaguya hime no monogatari Also, you should try Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Always a fantastic watch.

Glad Tsubaki finally exploded that should put some sense into kousei to drop the "Kaori likes my friend " crap.. Little Nagi-chan confirmed into Kousei ALSO TSUBBAKI CONFESSING WOOOO .. WE ARE GETTING CLOSE TO THE END. Since Kao-chan should die. Tsubaki should win. This should be over in at least a couple of chapters maybe.

"Fun things are fun." edit: Also nobody mentioned Natsume Yuujinchou for light hearted stuff. Shame on all of you. Alternatively you could also read the Aria manga or Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou if you just want to feel in a state of pure calm. The Aria anime is allegedly very good too but I can't vouch for it.

You can find my MAL here. +1 for Usagi Drop, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Barakamon, and Chuunibyou. Attack on Titan is a great entry to anime too...it has pacing issues, but overall very enjoyable. I'd also say Great Teacher Onizuka is a must watch, it's truly a classic that stands the test of time. Ping Pong if you want to see character development amidst a sports background. Silver Spoon is great If you like Grave of the Fireflies, try Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 For something more psychological, try Welcome to the NHK
