+ Show Spoiler +I think she loved what her daughter was before she found out she was a norma so that's why she calls the new on Hilde. She doesn't see the current hilde as her daughter. To her she died that day she found out she was a norma and got taken away. I'm sure they put her through some therapy to drive the point home.

yeah you make good points + Show Spoiler + they probably put her through some therapy to prevent her going crazy + that its the idea of her daughter that no exists and is a "normal" person now over rides the orginal hilde

I know that the reason why Shiroe wanted to get the treasure room was the money making god assumption but I really think its something else. Kinjo always gave off that aura of a bad guy to me. I guess we will find out in the next episode and whatever that evangelion-like thing he was standing in front of.

I actually don't mind that. I just don't know how in the world they're supposed to end this next episode... Would have liked it to be 2cour because it does look like the whole thing about tomoyo's brother will be ignored? I would have loved seeing more about that.
And I wouldn't be suprised if he and his group makes an appearance in the last episode with the last parts of the most recent episode but I wanted more

Yeah I'm really hoping Inou Battle gets a second season, I can't see a world where they end next episode in a satisfying way. Also need more student council pres and the green-haired cutie in the other group.

The teasing is strong with inou battle. She's even in the OP/ED (actually she's not in the OP) and gets like 10 seconds max per episode if we ignore that one big episode with her.

You prefer them inserting random "serious" plot elements then abandoning them? The show is like 90% light hearted SoL/Romance/Fantasy/Harem type with some token "there is srs business stuff happening out there" crap that isn't explained or elaborated on. Like when the white haired girl was randomly hypnotized/kidnapped or w/e.

yeah but that WAS explained and was just a troll in the end. And I thought it was funny.
Like I said, I just don't think they'll be able to do that with this particular problem in the next episode, both because of timerestraint and due to the nature of the problem. There's not going to be a nice and lighthearted solution that makes everyone happy if they really want to solve it.
Most likely they're just not going to solve it at all and go happy go lucky on if there's ever going to be OVA or a second season.

It was still random as hell. Here we have apparently very immature people (with super powers) fighting to the death in some stupid amusement of fairies contest plot that was introduced like it was supposed to be the main plot that the main group "stumbles into" but instead it gets white washed into the background and we get like 1.5 episode of this random "serious" plot. Then the series yanks back on the choke chain then the writers was like "Buh! What?! Shit I forgot we were a medicore fantasy SoL/Romance anime! More girls competing over the MC!". Now last episode is going to be serious again with what happened at the end of this one? Bad writing. If you wanted to introduce the more serious side to the series don't plug it in at random places then switch back to SoL mode. If they are trying to entice people into reading the LNs where I assume the bigger picture plot comes into play they sure haven't sold it well.

If you were to graph my enjoyment of the show over the course of the series, there'd be a massive spike at her episode and then a pretty steep downward slope curving off of it. I have hope for the last episode though.

Well they're not really fighting to the death and yeah what you said is mostly what I meant with "I wish they'd make it 2cour"
It seems more like super rushed than bad writing to me. Take that sideline/mainline/whatever it is with the contest as an example but they can't do that because there's no time and they're already rushing the ending so there's no way to include more of that.
That's the impression I got. I have no idea what the source is like but I'd assume that all is done in more detail in there.
I don't think you can complain about the hatoko episode being random as hell. That's, at least for me, the reason I watch it. It is random as hell and I enjoy watching it as long as it stays lighthearted and trolls me like this.
I mean it's studio Trigger. That's the same guys that did TTGL and KLK. It's going to be random as fuck

Hmm I am not really annoyed by Inou battles serious stuff or sol elements. I'm mostly annoyed that Chuuni stuff is unfunny and painful to watch. But rather than choosing a tone I always thought they were doing SoL while hinting that super srs business would come later. Granted they haven't squeezed it into 13 eps very well so they would need a 2nd cour.
