what the fuck hes dead? im gonna guess that esdeath brings him back alive or something, she has time freeze right? maybe she also has reverse time but it kills her or something...also if the emperor is defeated whats esdeath going to be fighting for now

Eh, I don't see Esdeath bringing him back. I don't mean to seem like hindsight is 20/20, but I figured pretty much everyone would die except Akame. The ending of the opening scene sort of depicts an injured Akame reaching out towards the screen as if it's all over. Wave switching sides was a little obvious, he did question "what are we fighting for?" in the last episode. I was surprised about Run though, thought he would die protecting the empire and Leone would die along with him.

The finale preview did also show Akame vs Esdeath, so we have that to look forward to. We get to see Akame's super scary sword vs Esdeath's chaos control. Najenda maybe dies before the fight (which leads to Akame fighting Esdeath) or during while trying to save Akame when she's in a pickled situation against Esdeath. Just my guess, but again, I don't see anyone being left alive except Akame, and maybe Wave.

With all that said, Wave is pretty cool with his blue Grand Chariot.

At least Tatsumi died a meaningful death, and after that death scene he better actually be dead. Not that I'm happy he died, but it did make sense that he died there.

Hard one for Favaro. I mean he is a dick and all but he isn't a heartless killer. Having to kill Amira, ouhoh.

Also multiple cliffhangers, omg. J'eanne's death sentence + the demon leaving the veil. And then Rita getting caught by the demon as well? That was one giant set up episode for the final 3 episodes. Pace is kind of high.

The dragon in the other sphere looked kinda cool if judged by the colouring but that CGI animation sure looked pretty weird.

I really like this new development, I hope they continue with it. I mean, killing in the context of taking out a wacky alien teacher is one thing, but they haven't really explored the whole thing about having a bunch of kids who are trained to kill coming out of school, and how that's going to affect their lives. I was always sorta hoping they'd expand on Nagisa's character like that, but since this is a Jump series it probably won't get too crazy with kids dealing with the trauma of taking a life.

At this point in the story does Saber clearly remember that the last time she was summoned, Kiritsugu was her master? I know that she recognized the Emiya name and said that she's familiar with the modern age because it's the second time she was summoned. But why didn't she recognize Illya for example?

Ilya was much younger when they met in F/Z plus she never found out her name. And yes she remembers everything (which is why she didn't go into the church with Shirou because Kirei as there). It is mentioned in the VN how its unusual for a servant to have memories of the previous times they were summoned.
