They weakened her because I doubt Akame can fight her at 100% just due to all those drugs and her skills on top of everything. I don't really feel saddened though. It was nice to see Wave question his actions and to see that the other Jaegar member also knows the capital is corrupt. Imagine if they both join night raid in the next episode to take down that superior imperial arms. At this point, I don't think night raid will lose anyone else so it's only going to be on the capital side (esdeath likely and either wave/other jaegar member or both).
Also, anyone else find it funny that the emperor is some kid? lol. I mean, how did he even become the emperor in the first place? Either way, he's definitely going to die. I thought maybe if they killed the 'whisperer' lol, he can be spared but it's a bit too late at this point. + Show Spoiler +Yep, Kurome on 100% was far superior cause she had so much drugs and whatnot done to her. Things still look very grim though, especially now that the emperor is bringing some kind of super imperial arms army (wtf?) if I read things correctly. Maybe the whole Jaegers will team up with Night Raid after all, lol. But as for Esdeath I can't really imagine it.

lol, but seriously. What are their plans for season 2 now. + Show Spoiler +it's not like anyone actually died. + Show Spoiler +Except you know Inaho but i am just basing on that radio show amamiya sora did with the director of the show. and fuck slaine ofc. + Show Spoiler +I was pretty sure he was alive after watching the ep, and the interview just confirmed it as far as I'm concerned. Not sure how you think that based off "Well we don't know he's actually dead. He should be dead if no one saves him, but we don't know what happened afterwards."

The fact that anyone expects anyone to actually die in that show is amazing. I'm still waiting for Sandman to come back with Gran Sigma.

Akame anime has an anime original ending. Everything since episode 20 has been anime original. I think the manga is still at the part to kill the religious minister guy? The one where kurome still wants to fight but is too tired.

+ Show Spoiler + Manga is at the part where Mine tries to free Tatsumi solo actually.

No. The manga is at + Show Spoiler +Mine rescuing Tatsumi. And she just 1 shots Budou. She's about to face off vs Esdeath. Rest of NR are supposed to be there to help, but their grand rescue plan wasn't all revealed yet.

Caught up on Cross Ange. The little sisters are cruel in this one.

Just finished this anime called Rescue Wings. Reminds me of Planetes in a few ways. It was pretty good. It was pretty drama.

Yeah ,lol except that one of the things I don't get about Ange's little sister is why she is in a float chair. Maybe even with mana their technology isn't good enough to heal her so she can walk (though they can build real life transformer mechs), and that's fine I guess. But why can't she move her legs with mana? Or have a leg exoskeleton that she uses mana to move just like her mana chair?

I can't make head or tails of jojolion.

+ Show Spoiler +rofl. That last episode of az s1 raised my opinion about the show by quite a bit. I liked how they seemingly had the balls to just kill of two main characters. But then, both reappear in s2. Dumps it down to not more than an average show again.

To be honest I thought the show was good overall. Maybe it's just the music making me biased. idk.
