IIRC yes S2 of Yakuindomo is just more of the first, but things get old quite fast. But I could remember it wrongly though because I put it on hold half way due to D-Frag being much better show ]

season 2 of Yakuindomo is so much better than season 1.
It's exactly the same thing, but just a bit less bad and

I've seen some gorgeous visual from some anime movie on the internet recently.
What are the biggest names I should watch? (Visual lover here, but a good story is always welcome). I feel like movie culture (anime) is still lacking compared to my anime series.

Hmmm, Satoshi Kon films, Sword of the Stranger, Redline, Kara no Kyoukai (I think you watched these right?), 5 Centimeters per Second, Akira, Mind Game, and Eve no Jikan are all pretty great in the visual department and a few of these also have good stories to boot.
And obviously Ghost in the Shell, Jin-Roh, Colorful, and Wolf Children are things you might want to look into if you're interested.
There's also this supposedly very artsy/philosophical anime movie called Tenshi na Tamago or something. I haven't seen it, but apparently a lot of hipster/edgy anime fans like it.

Crossroad is a pretty good trailer for an upcoming romance movie about a cram school...

Garden of Words may be something for you.
I agree simple story and characters with amazing scenery. I don't think HanaKana was good for the role tho
