I don't think i would have finished monogatari if i watched it not consecutively. Especially bakemonogatari Senjougahara is the best thing in it and what mostly kept me from stopping . It's not as fun as the other seasons. Did you enjoy it ? i think the show is momentum based like nisekoi or death note. Something that is more like continuous than episodic. | ||

It's like all the people who said Madoka ended up falling off because all the momentum it built up from weekly airings was lost because of the nuclear incident. I think that says more about how Madoka's story couldn't hold up when it didn't have some kind of artificial exterior momentum backing it up. | ||

I don't think there's a specific way to watch an anime, really depends on who's watching it, what they prefer, their time and obligations etc... For some animes like Madoka, I enjoyed watching it back to back though I took a 2 day break around the midpoint mark but it didn't really reduce my enjoyment while for others like Nisekoi, I didn't mind waiting a whole week for another episode. Something to look forward to and makes you excited for the next episode lol. | ||

You know something like that. K-On isn't really that great sure i enjoyed it well since i caught the moe fever on that show but i know it's not that great but it's one of those shows that i could watch in long stretch of time. From what i have noticed something like death note,fate zero, fma:bh or code geass is not as enjoyable to watch when you cut the momentum since they sort of don't hold individual episode value. Although watching something like K-On or Black Lagoon. Pretty sure black lagoon is just mediocre or above average at most but just mindlessly interesting. Idk maybe this is just my perpective or my own way of watching and i am completely wrong or maybe i am not making sense of what i am saying lol. Well yeah ZNF it sometimes more like the story is not holding up to the interest. | ||
