I don't normally go on TL to talk about anime with the community but I would like to request a favour! I could sift through some of the 300 posts in this post but I would like a recommendation of ONE anime that you think is worth watching from the PREVIOUS season except for K-on!! and working, (I happen to have those)... Ideally something on the level of awesomeness to me as k-on, claymore, death note, or code geass. Thanks if somebody responds, no problems if you don't care enough to respond. Cheers. | ||

I also dropped Kampfer at episode 1 and i dont remember there being that much of fanservice to even consider it fanservice. | ||

I don't remember how much fan service the first episode of Kampfer had specifically, but that show had absolutely no plot, barely any action ever, and pretty much existed solely for the fanservice. Think what you will about the plot, but at least it seemingly is there based on the first episode (unlike alot of other fanservice shows). And it had plenty of action. So I think based on those two things alone, I don't see how you can simply label the show as "just another fan service show". | ||

I can't recommend any single one, but the three I watched besides Working, and K-On!! were: Angel Beats: It's an enjoyable watch but has some of the worst writing I've seen in a while, bad pacing, bad character development, forced drama, etc. etc. Not very memorable but a fun watch. B Gata H Kei: Raunchy, silly romantic comedy with what you'd expect to be lots of sex but what turns out to be quite well written and fun. It's especially funny if you went through a lot of this sexual kinda tension in high school. Yojo-Han Shinwa Taikei (The Tatami Galaxy): Imo the best anime of last season, but definitely not an anime for everyone. Art is strange, but story is very well written with great pacing and great execution.
