finally, yoppi burst! I figured it'll eventually happening seeing as everyone also wanting to know what caused Mayu to leave I1 club. I hope we get some answers next time. I'm also glad that Mayu stepped in and told them that they need to work more and review their plans and such. If you want to beat the best, gotta step up your game and practice like them to at least compete.
ya thought the same. First of, lol she's gonna die an anime-death and suddenly it looks like she's dead for good. Has to be scumbag preview and it's just anime-death though. Why all the red eyes forshadowing and stuff whenever she was on the computer? Just to portray her as skilled? I don't think that's what's happening

is Kyou that bad? lol. I didn't really mind her pushy (and defend her sister) personality but I thought the other characters were more entertaining to watch from my perspective.
Kyou the character is fine. Even if I generally am against her type, there was plenty of nice enough potential for a really nice route for her. But they had to mix in the twins together which just screws up Kyou's part entirely and makes it a big jumbly mess that leave really bad aftertaste.
Basically if you go for Ryou you end up dating her and then it just ends, you dont really get any route clear so its pretty much a neutral end/bad end. If you go for Kyou you still date Ryou, then drama happens and Ryou just randomly gives up on you for the sake of her sister even though Kyou basically forced Tomoya + Ryou together just because she got jealous. I didn't buy the whole "Ryou ends up happy dont worry guise just enjoy being with Kyou :-)" thing because it made no sense. They should just split up the route or at least not be so nonchalant with the results of their choices. It was probably the only thing I really disliked about the VN. That and how short Yukine route is.

Ryou was awful. No personality or redeeming qualities of any way and the fact she was related to Kyou just made her useless boring qualities stand out even more.

hmm good points. I do recall her red eyes and wondering about it but then, if she got cut across her body and is probably losing so much blood, what possible escape route can she get? There must be something to the eyes though. It's just, I dunno how they can save her at this point. Not like she's a progenitor or something.

hmm I guess? I felt her reaction was natural and inline with what someone would do for their sister. Kyou in Clannad Afterstory was a totally different person in some parts lol.

Kojou could probably turn her into a familiar or something I'm guessing. She's not going to die, but frankly at this point it's only 4 episodes left in the season and I stopped watching StB for 'plot' long ago.

hmm I guess. Didn't think of that possibility. I'm not even sure if Strike the Blood has an actual plot. I mean, it's like mini stories with the characters from previous stories joining the cast for the most part.
I also hope that the love tug of war doesn't rear its head too often. I don't mind it but don't make LH mostly romcom or something. I have plenty of those to watch lol.

StB contains only enough plot to advance the fanservice. We never know anything that's going on, secret organizations pop out everywhere, and everyone is constantly spewing some magical lore filled nonsense

Nope, they stuck to it for most part. Except that it was so much more frustrating to go through in the vn.
I know they tried to make Accelerator seem sympathetic in Index by saying "oh he tried to scare them off before fighting" and saving the one sister but every time they show him killing a sister he enjoys it way too much to ever not think of him as a horrible person who should die.

Personally I think that's what makes him one of the better (if not the best) character in Index/Railgun. Morally unhinged for a genuine reason ever since they showed how it happened the first time in Railgun S.
