Did you even get through Kazuki route?

Log Horizon LN Vol 5 compared to anime (spoilers for future episodes) + Show Spoiler +
I wonder if the scene in the recent anime episode is canon. Not in the sense that Nureha should be at the Ice Palace, but that she knows what Shiroe did to Rudy. In the LN she says
"Didn't you develop a new concept of magic in Sand Leaf? I don't know the details, but it was modification magic on a grand scale... Shiro-sama is special, so I knew you would do such great deeds."
In the anime she seemingly knows all the details that a PotL died and transformed into an Adventurer. I suppose Nureha could have learned this in Vol 7, but it will make the interlude scene in the anime different.
Probably canon enough, that entire section in vol 6 was just them being vague purposely about what they know anyway.

That, and also Kazuki #1.
The game is a trilogy so no idea where they'll cover up to.
oh wow I didnt even know it was a trilogy since the ending was pretty straight forward with time leap of each heroine future with the the protagonist. I got a feeling they are probably going to go Yumiko route if they dont end up following the entire trilogy considering it is the easiest to animate when compared to something like Amane route which is probably too graphically disturbing. Now off to clear Sachi or Mitcher.
Anything but Yumiko route. As much as I hate michiru or boobs I'd rather see those.
I prefer Railgun to Index tbh, well at least Railgun S2 was insanely good. Railgun S2 takes place around the middle of Index S1 so should be fine. This is maybe due to Misaka being a way better MC than Touma lol.
well the last 5 episodes or so were retarded if you ignored naked Saten, as in naked Saten was the only thing worth watching in those last episodes.
Febri was mad cute though ;(
nothing compared to Saten naked though. I'm apparently one of the few people who watched those last epsiodes and let's be honest, that ending was retarded. Just a music show with every single intro / ED being played while misaka punches a mecha into space to kill a nuke.
Actually, Sent might enjoy the last episode just because of that.
Now that I mention it, it DOES sound hilarious. Time to rewatch that episode
Yeah, I don't know why people always hate on Saten. Probably gonna get flamed for this buuuut Saten best girl.
Edit: Also, I like Evangelion so you can flame me for that too. But I also like this thread.
flame! flame! flame! Did I do it right? I don't have much issues with Eva although I found the last 2 episodes really boring and didn't really enjoy those two. Felt like it departed from what I expected to be a grand ending which reminds me that I still need to watch the movies lol.
You haven't watched End of Evangelion, yet? It gives you the ending that people probably expected out of the series. It even opens up with a scene where Shinji is masturbating on a comatose girl.
What was the point of that scene again? Its been so long, was it just to show how fucked up Shinji is (as he says after he finishes).
Eva once upon a time was among one of my favorite anime. I even owned the entire series and both movies. I sometimes consider checking out the print media and the new stuff they have animated for the series, but lacking that extra motivation to actually do it because I wonder if I really care enough to want to see what they have changed/added/etc.
It was a deep scene for deep people exploring deep ideas.
Presumably because those planes are for recon/training. Being a two seater and having VTOL capability would point to that.
Also, they entered battle of their own accord, not under orders. Getting slaughtered was just a matter of course. What really struck me as dumb was how effective their silly little rifles were against the enemy planes. For a show that's been fairly accurate on the realism front, it seems like an odd oversight.

Maybe they aren't advanced enough to mount guns to shoot from them? At least, that what it seems like but having a flying ship so lol. Doesn't bother me though, just makes the battle harder for them. Either way, I enjoyed the episode. I can't believe how many of the members they have killed so far. I mean, we've lost three of the characters, Mitty, Wolf and forgot name of the pilot that had Wolf with him. We also lost Fausto and while he's not part of the main cast and was more of an enemy so to speak, he's another known name. I wonder how many more we will lose. Hopefully, one or two more at best and the rest survive with wounds or something. That humour between Ari and Kal-el, good stuff lol. I think next episode is going to be the really emotional one. I also want to see what Kal-el does when he finally finds out that Claire is Nina Viento. Gonna be interesting!
Not advanced enough lolwut. They featured a single seat air superiority fighter quite prominently in the exact same episode.
As far as deaths go, everyone that died was expendable, so I wasn't surprised at all. If they had killed Ari off, I'd have been surprised, but nope. Can't go killing off the mains while the plot's still unresolved.
Ten bucks says Ignacio sacrifices himself to save someone in the final eps.
Considering that there's four eps left, I kinda wonder what the whole point of introducing the spring at the end of the world or whatever the heck it's called is. Since there's already a bunch of internal drama to go over, it feels like they'll just halfass it.

Of course Kazuki route #1.
I think it going to end up being Yumiko sadly. It was the worst route only because it was really generic when compared to the other and lacked the oh shit factor that the other had. It also really easy to animate. Michiru is going to be the joke character so she has no chance, Irisu going to be the little sister loli so she has no chance. That leaves Sachi, Yumiko and Amane. I would say Amane has good chance but + Show Spoiler +
her past is too fucked up and probably going to be too troublesome to cover and censor that it probably wouldnt be able to execute it properly
. I havent played Sachi yet so I cant say much about it but I feel like it most likely going to be Yumiko as much as everyone would not like it to be so. :/

I was also surprised at how effective those rifles are. I figured that maybe it was training planes or something but still seemed a bit odd. You missed this part: "but having a flying ship so lol". Seemed odd that their planes didn't have mounted guns considering they can build a flying ship XD
You're right that the members are expendable since the show does have a large cast of characters when it comes to classmates and such and this is a war so it's not surprising. Still, I can't help but feel disappointed considering I was enjoying the different characters. Given, fausto wasn't appearing much, same with wolf's partner if I'm not mistaken. Would've rather Mitty and Wolf survived but couldn't fly anymore. I think next episode will do a good job of trying to get everyone back on track after they mourn their losses.
I'm hoping they have another season or something. 4 more episodes to cover what they have left doesn't seem like much time from my perspective and I'd rather not have them rush everything.
I'd be pretty interested. I quite liked SAC. I have no clue how the Arise series is doing (I hear it's nowhere as good?), but I wasn't fan of the stuff after 2nd GIG.
Think SAC was well written and had a pretty cool plot goin' on.
Yea you will get extremely different answers to that question.
Chuuni S2, Sekai Seifuku, as well as Tonari Seki-kun seem to get thrown about as being good by most people though.
For me I would say Chunni S2, D-Frag, Sekai Seifuku, Nisekoi, and Witch Craft Works are my top 5 (this is not counting shows that are hold overs from Fall).

Arise is not SAC. I hate the style. The story is passable I guess.

Kokoro Connect started very well but in the mid way i was put off by heavy emotional stuffs (and then luckily towards the end it turns out quite good).
For high school anime nowadays i prefer light-hearted stuffs like bento, baka test rofl. oh and how can i not mention that legendary bouncy zombie high school.
Those were actually my other choices but I chose Kokoro randomly. I will get to those after. I think I'm on episode 5 or something and some stuff I like a lot and stuff I dislike A LOT. Lets see how it goes after I finish.
Inaba best girl ATM
Edit: Man that ad for the cram school was good :O. Looked like a pretty good anime to watch too

They get points for trying though.
SAC was awesome, that laughing man case, 2nd gig was fun too but I loved the first season.
I don't get Assassination Classroom sometimes. Like, the principal knows about the assassination, but he still just goes out of his way to shit all over the students anyway? What kind of fuck all logic is that?
On February 26 2014 12:21 mecrotq wrote: Can someone post me the top 5 animes of winter 2014 so far ?
Thanks you in advance
Since it's so stupidly subjective, I suppose I should just assume my top 5 is the ultimate top 5...
1. Mikakunin de Shinkoukei (by quite a bit) 2. Onee-chan ga Kita! 3. Witch Craft Works 4. Super Sonico the Animation 5. Nisekoi
Not including shit still going on from last season (Log Horizon, Daiya no A, Golden Time) since any sensible person would have picked them up by now.
The last 2 on the list could be replaced by a lot of other anime honestly, this season has a lot of solid shows imo but very few that really really excite me and keep me wishing for next week (basically only the top 3).
