Depends on what you are comparing the story and soundtrack to, honestly looking in the grand scheme of things it is definitely above average. It is just that most people here pretend anything below average, heck, 75th percentile really, doesn't exist.
Summer Wars does get credit from me for making me remember the rules to hanafuda after ignoring it throughout F/HA.

cmon, while I agree there's a lot of anime bashing on here at times, everyone has a different opinion when it comes to anime and in his case, he expressed his dislike for Summer Wars(whatever its about lol). I wouldn't take it as the thread's opinion if one poster hates something

Right but I'm saying if you're saying like "cliche" that implies that Kuroko is coming from a long line of "overly aggressive lesbian characters" which I think is inaccurate. You haven't watched End of Evangelion, yet? It gives you the ending that people probably expected out of the series. It even opens up with a scene where Shinji is masturbating on a comatose girl.

Maybe its just the order and the selection of anime I have seen so it seems old by this point but you can't say that a gay character pining after a straight one is something rare in anime.

Eva once upon a time was among one of my favorite anime. I even owned the entire series and both movies. I sometimes consider checking out the print media and the new stuff they have animated for the series, but lacking that extra motivation to actually do it because I wonder if I really care enough to want to see what they have changed/added/etc.
