 for some reason I always ignored old animes , until I watched this show called "ultimate muscle"....I enjoyed it even though it was too american for my taste of dub anime :S , like always I was checking out if there were movies or ovas , and I found out it was a squeal to an old ass anime called "Kinnikuman" , so I checked it out ( or what is out in english subs so far , the sub team will release new episodes and some movies soon ) , and holy fuck !!!! that shit is funny as hell ! amazing anime for its time , GOD !!! I miss random violent slap stick comedy ! I cant wait for the new episodes. this changed my whole view on old animes , so I started to watch other epic classics like Ashita no joe , hokuto no ken...I'm enjoying the journey so far , I even started watching the old animes I saw as a kid like captain tsubasa , anyway I was trying to find the original Tiger Mask anime ( since I saw season 2 in my original language as a kid , the arabic dub is amazing ) , but it seems like it simply doesn't exist in an english sub format , I only found 8 manga volumes , and a trailer for the new live action movie XD , back to topic does anybody know where I can find that ? Also any classic animes that are a must watch , any recommendations would be great ! So topic discussion : epic classic animes ?  | ||

Last year the big one was Chihayafuru. Or maybe it was two years ago. But I was pretty unimpressed with everything after a while. Had a good 4/5 episodes and then I just kind of lost interest and by Christmas I was like "nope." Just was't my thing I guess. *shrug* | ||

Gotta give it to Manglobe for executing such a perfect troll series. At first you're completely convinced this was gonna be a pure slice of life with a little bit of ridiculous super hero shenanigans. What with the silly red suit get-up and the office supply weaponry. Even the OP mislead you to believe this was a pure SoL because they showed Flamenco waking up from the mecha fight. The last couple eps has seriously been a roller coaster. I felt like King Torture from last ep carried it for this sudden change of pace, and I really enjoyed his character a lot too. But there had to be a catch to his super power, and lo and behold it was "From Beyond" *facepalm*. Cue underground secret organization Cue more super hero members Cue giant robot Cue more flagged villains. Well played Manglobe... Well played... I just checked MAL and Samurai Flamenco is planned for 22 eps. What the fuck? How do you even? Now I am only in this out of pure curiosity. Well played Manglobe, well played. Im starting to think they may be the true villains after all... | ||
