This was such a smart move. It's likely to raise doubt among their supporters and you can see how the people and the students themselves are reacting. The show just got a lot more interesting. I wonder if they told them much earlier, at least if they told the students, if that would've been a much better idea since it would've sunk in and possibly changed things. On the bright side, no more hiding the truth anymore which is something I like

Getting even more interesting XD Seems like the surface will become a lot colder since the humans on the surface are forgetting the sea God or something. I wonder if doing the ofuniki will be enough to reverse that. Knowing Hikari, he'll probably go up to the surface right after hearing the story to warn them or something.

That twist in Golden time lol. I guess he's going to hide his feelings for Linda to stay with koko. I can't see him telling her that he loves Linda and wants to be with her instead after she was being so anxious. I do feel that she recognizes it though based on how she reacted when Linda saved him from the choking lol. I wonder if Koko will eventually butt heads with Linda about it but I dunno, I can't see that happening like it did with Oka seeing it was about Mitsumo there. Really hope we don't see him leaving koko or she leaves him then he gets together with Linda only to leave her because his new true love is Koko ending with him chasing her back home and confessing to her or something like that lol. Seems to happen enough in anime lol

the light atmosphere is still here, the bad guys are kinda ridiculous and not even that hard to beat. Even King Torture, for all Hayami Shou badass villain voice, is a bit ridiculous. The comic relief was constantly here throughout ep 08. I think Samurai Flamenco is still going in its original direction. It's just that now there is a supernatural component to it, and I'll try to accept it.

I mean, at least the series is not all dark and gory and shit yet :D

Maybe we can just ignore the super villains and we'll still get good character development going on.

But it still seriously bugs me how non-chalant they are about all the monsters and shit. Ah w/e. I really enjoyed how it was just pure Slice of Life, but now I guess this counts towards Fantasy or something.

Why would he not tell Linda? That was the completely separate "ghost" banri who now has a physical body while regular banri is sleeping, not some kind of memory recall.

well, back when it first started, he promised to koko that even if he remembers his old self (when they escaped the religious house), he won't forget her and such. I get a feeling that his feelings for koko will still be present and his ghost knows about them since he's been watching him (and will likely feel them now). Add on the fact that Linda told him that she wanted to be friends, not lovers and it's best to keep it to himself if he still likes her since he got rejected by Linda so he got his answer. I'm pretty sure Linda still likes him though but also recognizes that Tada has new people in his life as well and still recovering which is why she rejected him. I'm not saying he won't tell her at any point, there is a chance that he will later on but I don't see him confessing anytime soon although I could be wrong lol

Well from what I can see he basically split personalities at this point. Ghost banri has control while normal Banri is sleeping so you have the old banri, who has had all this time to mull over how much he messed up by not confessing earlier, with a physical body. The old banri has no obligation to maintain the current banri's relationship and may make his feelings known to Linda while he has the chance.
