Yeah, that's what I meant. There have been some nifty uses of them, but I don't know, it felt silly at some point when the main body and boots were flying separately, lol . A silly notion, I guess. *shrug*

Victory Gundam does away with the notion that humanoid robots need to be constrained to the bodily limitations of humans. In the end, they are tools, and how they are used depends on the pilot. If the main body and boots can fly around and be controlled like they are, you might as well make full use of its capabilities.
