ZZ 148 days
unicorn 3 days or so
victory 30 episodes in 60 days While watching other stuff, taking 5 months to finish fsn, last few dresden audiobooks and other nonsense. Oh and 3 months of slowly reading rewrite, 2 and 1/2 routes left or so. Don't feel like marathoning stuff still, other than I guess catching up on manga.
X is great, except for some reason it got cut short (only Gundam series ever cut short AFAIK).
I'd get fired up for new HxH anime arc... except the whole Chimera Ants is stick figure drawing > 3 year slacking off > trolololol part...

Ah... I didn't watch original while it was airing (not THAT old).

It took me months to finish it! What?! Zeta is awesome, dunno how its possible to stall it so much. I only ever watched it when I had nothing else to do, tbh kamille in the beginning was pretty damn annoying, and it took a bit of time to look past the old quality and animation.
The original movie trilogy (went for that instead of the series) had animation that bothered me a little. Going from that to Zeta, Zeta looked great.
Anyway, I'll be watching ZZ, sorry for asking (almost, I worded it slightly differently) the same question again.
Can't wait to get to Unicorn though, I want to see the power of a high budget, lol.

Speaking of Unicorn, ZZ is worth watching for it as well, since one of the characters in it has strong ties to ZZ.

In one small part of cyberspace, the flamewar continues. In flamewars, there can be no victors. Teamliquid is a pseudo-intellectual wilderness and men pretending to be girls disappear with time. Maybe the multitudes of lurkers in the threads may remember those trolls. Maybe it is fated that even those lurkers may leave one day. The posts in the midst of these threads is all that remains of a long forgotten flamewar.
At this time, in the middle of Teamliquid, an insignificant island, a thread, was at war.
The combatants are the Condescending Empire and the Free Planets Elitists.
Also, trolling with both sides, is the small poster-circle of Pherrose, a lolicon. Remaining neutral in the flamewar, it watches both sides battle. The flamewar has already been going on for 150 days.

Meanwhile...
Kaalcheis: Looking at the anime season chart?
Tryhard von Kupongramm
Kupongramm: The season is shit. Only moe, yet I will keep watching it, forever shitty, the only constant left to us.
Siegfried Kaalcheis
Kaalcheis: Our tastes are insignificant compared to that vast market.
Kupongramm: Certainly, compared to what we see, ours is but a small market. And...
Kaalcheis: The enemy's posters outnumber us two to one, and have three times our post count.
Kaalcheis: Therefore, all five staff members have been desperately seeking an audience with your excellence.
Kupongramm: It doesn't surprise me that those silly moderators have lost their nerve.
Milkis: Your Kuponess, thank you for granting us an audience.
Kupongramm: I am already aware of your views, gentlemen. You believe we face disaster, right?
Salleden
Salleden: The truth is the enemy does have us at a great disadvantage. Far more people play League of Legends than DotA2.
Kupongramm: In other words, you want us to quit DotA. But that is exactly what we must not do. I cannot even consider abandoning a game.
Salleden: But why? Surely we are at a disadvantage.
Kupongramm: Because, despite all appearance, DotA2 is the superior game!
Meanwhile, on Pherrose...
Lolisherr Adrian Ferrobinsky
Ferrobinsky: This is one of those battles that we must simply concede to the Elitests.
Ferrobinsky: The final victor is still undecided, the clouds of MoBA simply won't clear.
Ferrobinsky: For the time being, our citadel of lolicons, Pherrose, is a mere onlooker. But if the Empire and the Elitests get tired of flaming, Pherrose will get more lolis...

that random stuff lol
and i went to read the manga of Infinite Stratos, typical harem stuff and the girls jumping in so quickly and i am fine with that because i love tsundere <3 Is the anime worth the watch? I don't like or hate the manga so i can just leave it like that. Or i should wait for the S2 or possible remake?

It's a typical harem show with exoskeleton-robot. It's fine if you want some brainless entertainment, but you are not missing out skipping it.

When it comes to anime/manga/manhua etc. How important is the art to you guys?
Amazing art can sometimes completely outweigh an incoherent plot for me but it's a lot harder in reverse.

I guess that good art can be a bonus to a series, but poor art doesn't make a good story any worse.
|
Needs to be competent / quality. Haro cabbage or stick-figure Togashi are out.
Though different styles doesn't bother me much except the OVERLY shoujo ones from 90s.
|
Very poor art will just make me ignore the images and read faster, but I'll often re-read series with really good art just for viewing pages I like. Good art can make a mediocre series readable as well, but that's pretty rare.

Amazing art can sometimes completely outweigh an incoherent plot for me but it's a lot harder in reverse. I don't see art as overly important. Music and voice acting matter actually more to me (When judging only the "packaging" of an anime, and not elements of substance like plot or characters)

Is the picture of that pherrose an anime?
Edit : The most anime I've watched in a short time was probably : Madoka (1.5 day), Fate/Zero like 2 days, FSN 2 days. Otherwise, I can watch some episodes/day

I was also speaking as someone who almost exclusively reads manga over watching anime. I think art and animation have a much bigger impact in anime, though. I find it hard to sit through a series with bad, jumpy animations and really sketchy designs, but high end stuff will make me focus on the screen instead of multitasking.
