Anyway, I totally agree with Sentenal on Gargantia. I think the series is good so far, but I think it would have been much more interesting and original if they had come up with some way of doing it WITHOUT mechs. They are so blehhh any more. You know, it'd be like that foreigner who has a totally different language than anything on the entire Earth trying to communicate with hands and signals and whatever. And as the series progressed, his poor broken Japanese (English for me?) would improve! Though, that probably isn't nearly as accessible to most people, so wouldn't be as popular.

I would agree if somehow he traveled to the past, however that does not seem to be the case from ep2. So mecha part might be pivotal later on.

a quick question, do the movies from Kara no Kyoukai have a difficult story ? I was told by some one who wasn't familiar with the light novels or anything (like me) that he didn't want to go into it because it seemed to complicated, any toughts? Do the movies provide good and reasonable explanations?

It's not really that complicated, though I guess some of the lore/terminology they used I kind of didn't understand at times, but it really didn't affect my understanding that much. Think mostly everything is pretty straightforward.

Eh, some things might be slightly complicated if you have no experience at all with the Nasuverse, but it shouldn't be a problem as long as you pay attention.

ZZ definitely is of questionable quality, but it is the direct sequel to Zeta (it picks up practically exactly where Zeta ends), tells about an important time period in UC, the fates of several characters, and used by some Charfans as reasoning for some of his later actions. Just be sure you aren't expecting something good, or something with a similar tone/feel to Zeta, and you should be okay.
