Ixrec is currently the most consistent and the fastest translator around, but it still seems like it's going to take a while until that's done. Still, it's not too bad because I'm really looking forward to their very next project. Now, if only he knew Japanese...

It's in my opinion not important at all, I understand most of the spoken japanese and you can get a general idea with some logic and deduction anyway. I'll take a 10k lines per month mediocre japanese translator over 1k lines per month native japanese translator any day of the week. Even if Fate / Hollow Ataraxia translation will be native-level that shit is ridiculous. Speaking of which, yeah321 seems like a really fast translator as well and the translation was at least all right in Katahane. Looking forward to Ayakashibito. By the way, does anyone know of a good way to machine translate VNs? I'd like to try decrypting some of the ones which are very unlikely to get a translation soon.

To get such power and emotion into just 12 minutes of animation is truly amazing, it really blew my mind. I'd rec it to pretty much anyone in the thread, but dunno who could appreciate it aside from people like Maxie, Echo, Kaal, Uta etc. yea, the world is full of plebs who just will never get why Tsumiki no ie is so powerful..

While the PS3 sprites are definitely prettier, PC original sprites are that much better when it comes to being a part of the whole package. A lot of people hate on Sharnoth, which is understandable. If I I didn't like that whole Monte Cristo theme I wouldn't have enjoyed the game as much on its own. Also lucky that I played it before I found out about Inganock I suppose. Anyhow, the game is basically Sakurai's first real stab into making the Steampunk series a series. It expands a lot more about the world and connects the setting that was made in the previous two games. But as a standalone game it is rather lacking, it really wasn't until the webnovels were thrown up that the story felt like it was rounded up. Fortunately though Amaterasu also translated those iirc. Also after Valusia I can take anything from Liarsoft...says the one who is reading Gakutun at a snail's pace. Eca is right. But beyond the issue of the sprites looking better or not, the experience from the PS3 patch is too different from the original, IMO. Different sprites that simply don't have the same effect/don't fit as well, being voiced (which isn't always a good thing, see Dlanor), being buggy, as far as I know not being complete (last I remembered, only up to episode 5 had been PS3 patched, but they could be farther along now), from what I know has no "First Person Perspective" (which is fairly retarded if true), its just too different. At least with the Higurashi patch, all thats changed is sprites and few background images (and the OG Higurashi sprites are even worse than the OG Umineko ones), but in return you get all the music that's actually supposed to be in the game (since the Mangagamer release wasn't able to licence all the music).

Look on the bright side Aers, you can feed the entire Steampunk series through a machine and still get pretty readable results. That's how odd the original was.

But i highly recommend One-Punch Man if anyone didnt read it already. The original manga was released by some guy on some forum iirc and then the artist of EyeShield21 is now making the proper manga of it. I have been chasing for awhile now xD (both original and the proper manga version). I will probably read everything in one sitting (that's how I roll).

Also, the top 10 is very wrong I have not had time to fix it as I've been watching too much other stuff. Basically just move fate/zero and mirai nikki out/lower their rankings. Fate zero probably still top 10, but mirai for sure not even close >.> dunno what I was thinking when I put that in there.
