Just finished Texhnolyze.
+ Show Spoiler +It got quite a bit better than it started out, the first six episodes felt like just random characters doing almost nothing, with roughly 3 lines of dialogue a piece (I had dual audio files and half the time I didn't realize it was on english until 10min+ through). The ending was pretty much just everyone dies + engrish song, but it seemed like it was heading that way for a while at the end (after Yoshii died really), and it didn't really ruin it or anything. I think someone recommended it a few pages back to someone who liked Ergo Proxy. Pretty sure I enjoyed EP more.

Really enjoyed Btooom! The plot is like Battle Royale or the Hunger Games (I suppose, haven't watched/read them) except with bombs. It also has some romance and video game elements since the "game" they play is based on a video game. Short only 12 episodes which content wise is about where the manga is which I'm going to start reading.

It's not very dialogue-driven. I understand that is not for everyone but based on what you wrote how the hell could you enjoy EP? O.o

Season 2 combined all the episodes (including the new ones) into chronological order, but I feel the pacing and structure Season 1 had, despite its disjoint chronological order, was fairly good and preferable to the alternative (the show climaxs in the middle, and then ZZZzz's through the rest). Its up to you, I guess. As for Endless 8, they literally reaired the same fucking episode 8 times in a row. There are extremely minor ignorable differences, like different camera angles, or they are wearing something different, but its the same fucking episode lol. I'd suggest watching the first episode of Endless Eight, and then just skipping to the last part of the last episode of it, and pretend you suffered through the whole thing.
Don't listen to him. In order to fully understand endless 8, you need to watch it through twice. The second time you watch it your mind will be blown.

I am really looking forward to this as well, 2013 will be one hell of a year!

Hmm, wonder how much they will cover in that one. Very excited about it since translations are so slow for novels.
But. Where the fuck is Kizu. D:

It's exceptionally exciting when you begin to notice all the dialogue differences that they slip in to keep it fresh. Imagine how exciting watching that for 8 weeks on TV would be! + Show Spoiler +At least they only put 8 episodes in...
I'd suggest watching season 1 in the order it aired and then filtering season two to watch new episodes in chronological order. Getting the story without rewatching/reorganizing is difficult, but I guess that's by design.

Neko shiro is pretty straight forward and standalone, so they should do a good job with it. Kizu they might hold off to bundle with Kabuki and Oni?
BTW, is there any kuro raw yet?

Link to first season on AniDB please. A lot of them have the same name so I'm not sure which one it is.

It literally says Bakemonogatari second season on the official site.
|
Yeah, it meant as second "batch" not really second season. It seems to be 3 different series.

Like Nagi said they meant it the way it was used for the books. They seem to be cleaning up the rest of 1st season with the Neko Kuro OVA and Kizu theatrical release. 2nd season is everything from Neko Shiro to Koimonogatari though so I have no idea how they plan to fit it all in.
