How??! SG; SiFi thriller SAO: Action harem Clannad: Moe schoolgirl tearjerker ??? Gosick: Loli detective NHK: NEET i somehow got the same feel from watching gosick as i did with steins gate combined with the first half of sword art same with nhk and some of clannads moments with the girl who is alone in the world and in my book they are both a bit sad...

Clearly he needs to combine loli detective and NEET. So he should watch Kamisama no Memochou.
+ Show Spoiler +Even if most people here call it trash I love it so you should watch it anyway!

Silver Spoon anime but not No-Rin make me kind of sad... No-Rin would make a much better anime even though I love Silver Spoon manga

At least it's not until March like GuP. Most anime are on break due to holidays.

As many people here already know, I am a huge Nana Mizuki fan. So this year I bought myself a combined birthday/Christmas present and it's finally arrived!
![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/0Cqbc.jpg) Top CDs from left to right: Omoi, Mugen, Ultimate Diamond (slightly lower), and Silent Bible. Bottom from left to right: Gamers magazine featuring Nana, Tsutaya postcard (above the magazine), Tower's magazine featuring Nana, and all 3 versions of Nana's new CD Rockbound Neighbors with Toranoano and Gamers tokuten. And in the back, 2 large posters and a smaller clear poster. Since I got a limited edition dvd, it also came with a photobook. It features all the pictures you see here (except magazines) and many more outfits/poses! So, I am a very happy fan right now. Next planned purchase: Nana concert! Seems like my Nana purchases have been increasing in price each time 7_7

AOTY 2013 incoming
Hopefully it won't be based on Neptunia 1. I'm pretty sure its gonna be based on V. Made by the same studio that is currently doing JoJo.

something similar to robotics;notes / steins;gate?

Am I the only one here who's thoroughly impressed by what Shin Sekai Yori has achieved so far?

If you liked the Groundhog Day-timeloop mixed with suffering! then you may like Puella Magi Madoka Magica (assuming you haven't watched it already). A lot of people seem to like Higurashi no Nako Koro ni, although I think of it as a rather mediocre adaption.

Already seen Madoka ^^
I kind of love the Steins/robotics universe. Very different from what I used to watch ^^ The main are all like-able! and there's always a serious story in the back

Watching Total Eclipse then look it up on wiki and find out it's based on an adult visual novel game (or the spin off of one). This will be the third anime I've watched based on adult visual novels the previous ones being "Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!" and "Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom" at least that I've known of. I suppose I should have known with the harem elements of Eclipse and Maji de Watshi, but it was surprising to find that out for Phantom. The most similar anime I can compare Phantom to is Darker than Black, but I would say Phantom is darker although I haven't seen season 2 of Black.

Total Eclipse is based off a Light Novel, which itself is a side story to a Visual Novel. The Visual Novel itself has no anime adaptation. The VN is quiet good, I highly recommend it.

If you liked Phantom, then you might want to check out some of Urobuchi's other works. Fate/Zero is based on a light novel by him, and he is the lead writer on Madoka Magica. Both are quite fantastic shows.

I'd also recommend Noir. More assassins, great great music. And read the Muv Luv VNs. MLA is very good.

I haven't gotten into Japanese light novels or visual novels even though I want to read the light novel of Baccano! What fan sites do you use to find them translated? I'm aware of Noir have started watching then stopped watching it many times for unknown reasons. Will eventually sit down and finish it.
