The mind games or just kaiji's wits in general made this really interesting to watch, there wasn't a moment where I could with certainty predict what would happen. This coupled with great art and really fitting soundtracks made this a must watch for me. Weird I never see this show recommended to people who look for recommendations from death note. Would imagine this is right up their alley. | ||

The first game arc there is the best one out of the 3 translated arcs of Kaiji imo (3rd "part" is manga only, 3rd season when!?!??!?!) but the second arc can be painfully slow. The second arc also goes away from the psychological aspect that the first season was filled with which the first arc still keeps to some extent. It becomes more about game than psychology there but it returns in the 3rd part. | ||
