After Vol 1 and Vol2(Side Stories), SAO is not SAO anymore. The author decided to ditch the whole idea and bring in a new MMORPG.Vol 1 was good barring the crazy rapid relationship development between Asuna and Kirito. Now i wonder why the producers decided to add in those Vol 2 Side Stories episode in the beginning of SAO. I reckon if they did not put in those side stories episode, we would be seeing Asuna and Kirito getting married in just 5 episodes lol. I felt that it was awkward as fuck.Basically, they eat some meat together and defeat a boss and Kirito saves Asuna and then they get married???? I was like.........................
And then it only goes downhill from there, lol...
Just curious what are your thoughts on Vol 9/10?
Alicization had a good start, it got a bit out of hand near the middle and the end but by that point you know what you are getting. If it is a sign of how he can write for SAO Progressive then I am looking forward to the next set of major retcon and rewriting.

Fandisc gave us like 2 more creatures, was fun, now the long wait until the next steampunk series game shows.
Fandisk? What fandisk? Is this something I should know about?!
They just released a fandisc for everything in the steampunk series so far, basically just a collection of short stories in vn form.
I just read vol 3 and 4 of SAO before heading to sleep, and I'm kinda tempted to just stop reading now since it seems like such a proper ending spot lol. It feels like anything added on is just stretching it. But yeah I thought it was an enjoyable read.

Well you have more patience than me then. I got through half of vol 2 before I gave up.

Save that money for 9th Nana album imo. 12th year anniversary on 12/12/12 lol. Not a 7 joke for once! Though, I'll admit Hina bookmark is pretty nice :3
edit: oh hey it's on youtube now. Unchain Blades sequel PV with one of her new songs Linkage
I haven't been reading the ADT in a while but I'm pretty sure no one posted about the second season of HS DxD coming out! Hopefully it'll release sometime early in 2013 Anyways time to watch some Samurai X. I can't believe I didn't know there was a second OVA..I wonder how I missed that.

You're pretty late to the party...

I'll let you know when I get there. I only read SAO to kill time at work, and am currently on the last part of Vol 8.

Id say its worth checking out you might like it, but dont expect too much from it.
Do you not watch Koi Sen?
Anyways, time to add SAO to the epic list of "discussions" that this thread has had.
-Evangelion -Code Geass -Fate/Zero -Sword Art Online
I don't remember F/Z causing any. The only F/Z related "epic discussions" I can think about would be more about Saber, but those were more IRC wars than something in this thread.

Some of it spilled a little bit here. Favourite "Grimdark" Character, ofc Saber etc
I'm not impressed, Nagano. At least visually (which is essentially all you can tell from this trailer), the mecha designs look nice, but everything looks so... IDK how to describe it, "plastic"? Something about the textures and shading on everything bothers me. Sunrise's FSS Movie looked tons better than this, and that was over 20 years ago. Maybe its just the trailer, I final judgement will be reserved for when it actually comes out (lol).
Also, the main mechs' design is really weird. Its like Nagano forgot how arms are supposed to work.
I'm completely not on topic for what y'all are talking about, but the new Kiss x Sis chapter was... hm... boundary pushing?
I just have to giggle at this series. Doesn't take itself seriously in the slightest, is about half a step away from full on H, but it really blood entertaining.

And there were discussion on Saber predating F/Z. It's not new.

I don't think there are any boundaries left any more after Yubisaki Milktea. Really, it's not all that provocative except inappropriate teacher-student relationship (step sister twincest notwithstanding), and that's pretty common in other tame mangas, just not as graphic.

I was more talking about the conversation him and his dad had in this last chapter (64). Suggestive wasn't even the word to describe it.

Eh... I didn't find it with any deep meaning, except that his father apparently is Greg Oden.
