The animation quality is great, and is really noticeable in the game world scenes. Nice ending, but from what I've heard, there going to make a sequel sometime. General summary: Two people meet, both of which don't have friends. One of them gets the idea to make a club to help people get friends. More characters join the club along the way and partake in a few activities. Also, thinking of watching Durarara after seeing a cool looking amv on youtube. Anyone have any opinions on the series? Watch Baccano instead.

It's very good. You might want watch Baccano first, same author, same universe though not directly connected.

But Baccano is nice. On September 01 2012 13:26 Sentenal wrote: Accel World is okay. Its better than SAO. For example, Accel World has stuff like this: + Show Spoiler [very gif heavy] + ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SAO on the other hand opens with 8 episodes of side stories where basically nothing happens. The 4th one made me laugh like an idiot. What the hell were they thinking. But yeah, stuff actually happens in AW. Hopefully the main story of SAO is good, but so far it's like you said... + Show Spoiler + Best episode since the first one... too bad I already knew about the dual wielding but it was pretty nice nonetheless. Though I can't help but think of sandwich jokes whenever Asuna has food -.- what has the internet done to me.

Too little too late, I fear. I shed tears reading this scene in the book and I still did that because of what I'd read, but I think they just Tadakatsu'd this again.

If they butcher Futayo / Gin the same way they butchered Futayo / Muneshige (though I fully expect them to) I will be so sad.

Durarara novel > Buccano novel Buccano novel is great, but it is spread WAY too thin, like 4 different timelines, each one gets 2 vol and then keep jump around, just so painful to follow once hit vol 10+. On the other hand, because it's different timelines, the anime actually does a really good job close things out, while Durarara just leaves too much unfinished business.
